The WORST Flight Simulator EVER! THIS IS A FUCKING JOKE!
@gregh3352 сағат бұрын
Hello! I bought one but couldn't get the FFB to ever work. I set it up in MSFS2020 in the control section with the MOZA software and it directionally functioned just perfectly but never had any FFB. Support was spotty and often was unrelated to trying to get to the bottom of no FFB response...l just returned the unit back to them. Question...when you configured your unit via the control section of the game, did it both directionally work and provide FFB or was there something else you needed to do to enable FFB? I think my unit was defective out of the box but MOZA could never tell me. Anything you can relate from your experience to better help me understand why mine never FFB worked? The unit was one of the highest quality pieces I have seen. Maybe you could do an instructional set up in the game to help me see if it was me or a defective unit. I am willing to re buy it. Cheers and all the best! Greg

There’s not much more to it, even in the medical field. They just figured out how to manipulate the spring strength with a little blue pill.

Me n my buddies are still rocking Dirt Rally 2. Perfect game. I wish the campaign was better (or actually made sense in any way whatsoever) But it’s by far the best feeling sim out there. And by far the best VR experience.

I here ask any of you reading this comment who have not yet tried RaceRoom to go and give it a shot. Game is criminally underrated. The devs have done a fantastic job so far and continue to push the boundries all the time.

12:55 -- RE: "Forget that it's a flight sim, for the moment. Entertainment."; A: I feel you there but seriously, I can't forget it's a flight sim when the publisher releases 3-6 different versions all priced differently and targeted towards everything from casuals looking for entertainment to flight schools who will literally be using it as a simulator for pilots in training. And, no matter what one of these 3-6 options any given person picks, it's all borked and janky.

9:50 -- RE: "It's just so depressing," and giving Micro$oft the benefit of a doubt; Ya know, I can at least appreciate that Micro$oft tried to engage with the customers already to address their concerns, but dang, having already been mistreated by dozens of other developers worldwide, *Why would I Give Micro$oft the benefit of a doubt?* Even if they'd never done something shady before (and LULZ, IKR) there's no reason for them to offer a higher standard of service than the rest of the bloody competition. Wasn't it Micro$oft who wanted Todd Howard to raise the price of Horse Armor to keep it at the same price point as other worthless, cosmetic DLC like any of the other subsidiaries Micro$oft has under its umbrella? Yep. They're all about the Min/Maxing. Micro$oft Flight Simulator hasn't been half the sim it used to be since the Users were discouraged from providing all the 3rd party addons and mods, anyway. If it weren't for the users, 80% of the current features like realtime multiplayer with Air traffic control, real world scenery and your choice of aircraft would never have become expected features.

i dont know why we compare so much. Reality is in the sim world for rally it has to be much harder than any other racing sim to accomplish to the levels people want. If you want to truly use a sim to get overall better as a driver and get used to the mecahnics which is really what a sim should train is hand eye coordination more than be real life. If you are doing it for this reason do the same as me. Play them all burns, 2.0, wrc all are great. Happy to have a rally game period after the success of f1

just started watching this one, but what I'd like to see with this stick is how it reacts in dcs etc specifically when you get hit. My MS Force Feedback stick in ye olde days I aways remember feeling quite hard the bump as take a hit from the someones gun on Ms Combat Flight Sim. I've not managed to see any vid showing that aspect of it yet

So the problem I am having is that in career mode, you cannot adjust the flight plan. You pass the certification for IFR, but you are flying from an airport, to another one that has RNAV support, however the broken EFB does not let you change anything. You are stuck doing VFR, though you can use instruments to fly to the airport. Also when flying to an airport, there is no descent given, just fly to the airport and yeet in, on a runway that is 1000ft I understand that in career mode, you are flying for a company, but being able to select altitude, approach legs, benefits safety and economy. There is also no altimeter reqding given in any part of the briefing, no easy way to input weight, like 2024, or to even change fuel amounts. If I am flying with a 22KNT headwind, then it is going to take longer, and more fuel to reach the destination. Also no safe elevations given, or any for that matter, we just do that upin takeoff. Also overflying an airport, we have to announce that nearly everytime we flyover an airport that is a grass field, ridiculous, given runway incursions for landing too far. The game is not sim or user friendly, however if I want to fly a gyrocopter through the grand canyon, well then yippee

For me Iracing: Is my go to, like the multiplayer aspect, like the variety of racing series, yes it's expensive, but I treat it as a hobby rather than a game. Main gripe is netcode. but even then I don't get fucked over by it often enough for it to be a problem AC: Great for hotlapping and listening to a naturally aspirated V10 engine from an F1 car, bad for racing. The AI are just not up to par ACC: They do GT cars well, but they only do GT cars, so whilst it can be great if I want to do GT racing, I prefer Iracing because it's more diverse, the AI are also pretty bad AMS2: Hate the handling, cars don't feel connected to the track Rennesport: never played, no comment RF2: Never once has it ever worked for me, I'm sure it's a great sim, but after 40 hours of trying to fix it, I'm done Raceroom: Never properly played, no comment

I love how people talk about this like its something brand new! But it exist since 1997, my dad had a Microsoft Sidewinder and it was already EXTREMELY good, i think its WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too expensive, its not new tech guys. This is almost as old as me.
@GamerMuscleVideosКүн бұрын
Your comment implies that I'm not aware of a sidewinder , we have talked about it loads on this channel and covered it in multiple videos. joysticks like this Moza and the Brunner are new tech in that the motors are of way higher standard to what is in the Sidewinder and the whole telemetry driven software that works independent of direct input again is really quite different , the quality of the joysticks and other aspects are also quite different. But sure the sidewinder 1 and 2 did alot of the fundamentals in a great package for £170 and the 2Nm or so force of sidewinder was quite decent as well , though no where near as detailed smooth or dynamic as these newer sticks.

real pilot here, youre wrong about not feeling wind in the yoke. you feel gusts, none fly by wire should feel the wind deflecting on the elevator and alerion, the stick will have sudden and strong pulls, to the point you have to counter turn to return to straight and level flight. I hope to feel that while flight simming as well. especially if you get into the different types of turbulence, lower speed windshear should lead to a mushy feeling on the controls
@GamerMuscleVideosКүн бұрын
@@TheLebronOfCooking well obviously in a real aircraft you will feel anything that has the affect of changing pressure on control surfaces or deflecting controll services as the yoke is connected to them , the speed of wind and angle of wind that does that and to what degree will then vary. The speed of the aircraft should also greatly affect the degree to which turbulence affects controll services relative to the turbulence. I'd imagine there is really interesting documentation on it and probably the data to know how to set up things to feel as close as possible with Sims and ffb devices. I probably wasn't very clear in the video , you can set up turbulence with ffb joystick to suddenly tug on the stick but I don't think it operates precisely like it does in real life / is not a proper simulation of it. Wind or directions of wind that suddenly remove lift from the control surfaces again should be possible but will depend on what's driving the telemetry and to what degree that's simulated , it could probably be faked in a very convincing way mind you. At the moment , as far as I'm aware only a fake semi fixed form of turbulence "effect" will give the sudden tugg type effect on the stick with ffb joysticks I have used. Can get some feel for turbulence with the G-force effect but I don't think it will really operate quite right / will happen too slowly and also give false input on the stick if used aggressively.

@ appreciate the info
@nemisis_wolf22 сағат бұрын
@@GamerMuscleVideos MSFS both versions have little to no telemetry VPForce have created Fake effects to compensate for this and Moza have this in the AB9 as it's VPForces code! DCS on the other hand has telemetry for the modules in the sim but each modules telemetry depends on the individual developer of the module to add these effects to the module so some DCS module have very little but the F-4 Phantom by Heatblur has the most realistic effect alongside the warbirds.

@@ChrisSuperTube someone did this with a Logitech ffb stick in 2005 or so but the issue is drift and detection , with today's ffb joysticks it should be possible , also novint falcon could do it that came out 2010 or so

Good point about the z-axis for helicopters. Most people don’t realize that using the twist for tail rotor control causes you to make other unwanted inputs with the cyclic. Helicopters are super sensitive and that tiny bit of unwanted input can really make it difficult to fly. You’re better off with a paddle axis than the z-axis for helis if you don’t have pedals.
