I totally agree with you Matt with some people It will be awkward to bring a picture to have a female athlete sign. But there are some female athletes that certain people would like to have such as Serena Williams. Maybe Britney grinder also Diana terraci.

I'm commenting on this video AFTER the record-breaking attendance that was the National... I wasn't there, but from the footage I've seen from various people who were at the National, there didn't appear to be many women in attendance (either as part of the general public attending as buyers, or as vendors setting up stalls). Assuming that's the case (and I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong), and assuming that your theory that men feel awkward getting female athletes autographs rings true (or they just don't sell)... then the first step would be getting women interested in the hobby, and for them to drive this change. This cannot be forced though. It's a very male-dominated hobby, with very male traits - and there's nothing wrong with that at all. I wouldn't expect there to be a significant representation of males at a Barbie doll convention, for example! It stands to reason that male collectors would want to collect the best athletes in their fields. Biologically, the best athletes are males, and there's no getting around that. Anyway, that's just my thoughts. I appreciate your videos, Matt, and your take on the hobby. Keep up the great work, and happy collecting/investing. 👍

Terrible. Tristar has never been very progressive, they follow way behind the trends. So many options in WNBA (in season not an excuse. Almost all male signers are retired), US Soccer, Tennis, Olympic Athletes, etc. NIL Superstars are totally overlooked. INSTAGRAM Stars would help promote it too.

Most female athletes are lesbians or lesbian leaning and are weary of men in general. I’d argue they would be uncomfortable spending several hours in public dealing with a variety of men. Even with getting paid.

That hunch is 100% spot on. I chase wnba ip autos because I enjoy basketball and chasing ink. It does at times feel awkward when a middle aged man like myself is asking a women for their auto lol 😅
