Thank you for this video. I'm about to remove my fenders on my 69 Elco for restoration. Hopefully, the bolts are not as rusted as yours were.

Your video is one the best I've seen for replacing the alternator on the S40 T5. I already used it once back three years ago when I had to replace the original alternator and now I have to replace the replacement that I got back then from FCP euro , why I don't know, but I will use your video again, glad it's still out there. Thank you sir!

Excellent videos! My passenger window popped out of the bottom track, so I had to pull it out & install new glass setting tape. I've also had new vent window seals sitting on a shelf for about 10 years, so I finally installed those while I had it out of the door.

Wish I watched this earlier today. I got my 68 Galaxie fastback rear window trim off by prying and wiggling carefully since I didn’t know how the clips worked, and there was lots of stretchy old black adhesive also holding the trim on as well. What a mess. But I didn’t damage any trim…only a few of the clips which I think I can replace

@@oacumulador Hi! I am doing fine, thank you very much for asking. Sorry I haven’t posted any content in a very long time. I hope to get back to it some day soon. I am planning on posting a video explaining everything once things return to normal around here. So much has changed since Covid and nothing is normal anymore. Thanks again for asking. Take care!

Hi do you have to remove the door glass first to extract the Vent Glass Frame ?

The vent glass can be removed by itself without touching the door glass

How were you able to get to the bottom left screw on the alternator? It could be my tools, but I can't seem to find a way to get the socket seated. Any help is appreciated.

It looks like shade tree mechanics Why didn’t you just take the fan shroud off? And then take the fan off and pull the damn radiator out. Thank God I’m not one of your subscribers.

Fuck are you taking the whole front end just for a radiator. Can the radiator come out by taking the fan off the fan shroud and pull the radiator out that way?

These videos are a great help! I have a '72 Elky that was disassembled 20 years ago by a body shop that tried to paint the car. They shut down before it was finished. Car sat for 15 years and was finally painted but that shop did not reassemble the windows. I hope I have all the parts, but your explanation of how things go together will be a huge help. Thanks!

Nice welder. I am a beginner. I clicked on the video because I saw the HOBART. I am using one at work (belongs to my boss), it's a different model, but looks identical to yours. The machine is solid and easy to use. I am considering buying the machine you have for my own personal use. Good video, thanks a bunch.👍👍

What grit black diamond?
@512kjt Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. Honestly I don’t recall what grit it was, but it’s the one that harbor freight sells. If you’ll read SWILLING’s comment below, he has some really good detail about what he did with one of his cars. The guy is an ace. He said that his bag had red lettering and I think I recall mine having black lettering so mine may have been a medium versus a fine.
