How hard can this be take the percentage of votes that each party got and divide the ministers positions according to that. If there a three key misisters post in the cabinet the ANC takes one and the DA the other one and then take the other parties and make them the Deputy. Say if the minster of finance is a ANC member then the Deputy is then from the DA or other smaller party. Damn these people want their cake and eat it too. That politics for you if you give a minister a task and he has ten hours to do so, he wil use nine hours to explain what he is going to do and the other one hour to explain why he didn't do the job. Damn these parties and their eggos the GNU was formed to work for the interrest of the people but now you see how greedy they are.The people are not interrested in who does what all they care about is that the person is the right person and that he/she can do the job and is not corrupt that is what we voted for. The DA, therefore, should get 30,5% of the 30 Cabinet posts, which amounts to 9 Cabinet posts. But that's just the numbers. The quality and importance of those Ministries should also be considered and that's the only thing that should be negotiated, really. The DA simply cannot settle ONLY for less important Ministries. I'd say they deserve the position of Deputy President and at least 6 important Ministries.

When the ANC started these negotiations I honestly thought that they are finally on a road to redemption and I was hopeful that they would act in the best interests of South Africa. We have this opportunity to turn SA back from this state of mediocrity and decline, but not if we're going to have another 5 years of effectively ANC rule.

As long as Ramaphosa assigns cabinet posts proportional to votes each member party received. If that means the DA gets lower tier portfolios like Sport, Arts, Culture, etc. - so be it
