SA labours under the misapprehension that its challenges are unique. Not so. Countries all over the world are facing similar challenges... and finding solutions to them. SA can learn from innovations implemented elsewhere. I'm not saying SA's problems aren't serious, complicated or difficult, but rather I'm saying let's focus on solutions once the challenge(s) have been ID'd. SAs quick to moan & complain; not so eagre to help out & sort out. COSATU is part of the problem. They supported the ANC for 30 years instead of holding them accountable for corruption, state capture & bad governance. I think COSATU should either be part of the solution or shut up.

Coalitions may work in a 1st world political environment but certainly will never hold in a 3rd world environment when some players lack maturity and intellect along with their fragile egos.

We were made to believe that African countries are the epitome of corruption, but these ones here, are rotten, dripping with blood. A coalition set on such logic is a really bad idea. If South Africa is a united nation, standing for peace and prosperity towards other nations and their citizens, then surely a coalition with all political parties involved, including its supporters, makes more sense, since the General Election was found on the principles of equality and fairness, right? To assume we should accept a coalition of only two parties under such a contradiction in moral or democratic thought then what is the point of the coalition in the first place other than working against progress and prosperity which these political stood for when they wanted everyone to vote for them, believe in them, to no avail will their victory dancing be, not because they have not succeeded, but because they have failed to unite South Africa internally to allow our homeless and immigrant brothers and sisters to vote even, whilst they milk every dollar out of them still through Tax practices. If this doesn't make sense to your listeners John, then no one is listening.
