Thank You. Everyone falls into DA's delusional thinking. they do not seem to be aware EFF is waiting in the wings and furthermore Gayton already hinted EFF will be joining.

Yes, I agree that everyone needs to be kept in check. I do believe Helen, however, needs to learn a softer delivery with her speech even though she may have been correct with intent. It's a coalition, after all.

Helen Zille is not called the madame or "mies" for no reason! She comes across as superior! There are enough examples of controversial statements from her in the media! She has that type of arrogance in her attitude! She has never been a peacemaker! It's either her way or the highway! She does not understand African politics. More than enough examples in the media about the majority's view of her. She does not understand that she is part of 3 million whites and therefore cannot prescribe to 60 million non-whites. She can't handle Gayton McKenzie and the PA at all. She comes across as aggressive in her negotiations. It doesn't make her bad, it's just her type of personality! She might be effective in American or European politics. She has a history with Mmusi Maimane, (her experiment) Herman Mashaba, Ramphele Mamphele, Patricia de Lille, Lindiwe Mazebuko, Phumzile van Damme, Mbali Ntuli, Atholl Trollip, Dr Mpho Phalatse, etc. I believe John Steenhuisen, Solly Malatsi, Solly Msimanga, Tertius Simmers, Ivan Meyer, Siviwe Gwarube and the others must obey! Couldn't Helen be taught by Dr Corné Mulder and the IFP Leader, Velenkosini Hlabisa, how African politics work. Everything still happens within racial context. Because you as a white person and women, lead a predominantly white liberal party, in a society where you are part of the 3 million whites, then behave like this. Helen better explain why it is okay for FF+ , PAC, UDM, GOOD, etc to join, but not the PA. She with her 20% don't call the shots and she should not be allowed to bring her Provincial issues because the PA is stealing the Coloured vote to the National table. She needs to treat Coloured and Black voters with respect if she wants to keep them voting for the DA. HELEN WANTS TO GOVERN SOUTH AFRICA BY THE BACK DOOR EVEN THOUGH 80% OF THE POPULATION REJECTED THE DA.

Please, the most important aspect for a successful GNU is for Helen Zille to step down from politics immediately. WHO assigned the DA to the preferential position of FOUNDING MEMBER??????????? As far as I'm concerned there is ONLY ONE founding member: THE ANC. Everybody else is INVITED TO JOIN THE PARTY. The fact that the DA constitute a party of 20+ percent does NOT upgrade it to the position of 'founding member'. Secondly: the discussion should center around WHEN the letter of intent arrives at the point of a 'BINDING HANDSHAKE'. WHAT make you think that it applies to THIS stage of entering instead of 'AFTER THE GNU/COALITION' becomes a fact. That is: after the CABINET is formed!! I mean: WHAT is the BASIS of the DA to claim that the ANC needs ITS CONSENT in order to allow the PA to enter into the GNU/COALITION?????????????????????

So Helen Zille who only go 20% of the votes can decide who is in and who is out over the ANC with 40%. She has no problem with FF+ joining but has a problem with PA. She is bringing her annoyance that Gayton is stealing votes in the WC province to the National table.

From what happened in Jo' burg it should be obvious that the DA(and with that I mean Hellen Zille) just can't help playing baas.Right now we need everyone to look at the bigger picture ,which is to make this version of the GNU work,instead of the alternative ANC,MK,EFF coalition.DA should learn the art of diplomacy.

Didn't the DA sign on the same day that the PA announced that there's a deal. Also all parties were invited at the same time so all the ANC is waiting for are responses. It's not like there was a GNU and then the ANC decided to approach others afterwards. The whole nation is waiting for the final count of members of the GNU. The DA should be careful not to shoot itself in the foot too early in this marriage

Looks like the ANC played the DA, they have their major pieces developed now, so the DA is now despensible. They will now get very friendly with the EFF and rest of smaller parties who crave positions.

Gayton Orwell has said that as minister of police he would declare OR Tambo airport a crime scene (!); he also said that he would arrest Helen Zille. Indeed most of his interview on Face the Nation was a rant against Ms Zille. But what does he have to say about Beaufort West?
