@@cambodiav2.0 I’m afraid it’s not- though that would be cool. It’s more of a DJI type thing

So it's been over 4 years since this video posting - where's the Cinemills website?...Anyway, I'm looking for a light comparable to the AadynTech Eco Punch Daylight Cinema fixture we've rented for years. What product do you have that's comparable in light output? How does it compare in weight and cost?

Mat, during this video you say that "...it's also a great portable player for reviewing shots...". However, I have just bought a 12G HDR and there seems to be a problem with playback. For example, if I record one shot from say a 1080p25 source, stop recording and then record a clip from a 1080p30 source, I can't then go back and look at the 1080p25 clip. The media menu acknowledges that the memory card has got two clips on it but you can only see one of them. I think this is a bug. Is there any chance this will be fixed? (BTW, it would perhaps get over this problem if the 12G had a file browser like the Atomos products so that you could choose which clip to play)

INSANE!!! he filed bankruptcy. His marketing and networking campaing AND his business maths and strategy must be under par!!! Pfff. i'm dissappointed by the paper trail left by Graham Rowan: Brilliant idea that could be realized by the Korean at half the UK cost (they have good EE students on the breadline in Korea)... And a blog by Mr Rowan "i'm doing it all myself by hand, i'm starting work on the FPS4000 without having delivered the FPS1000. That means that he had already run out of money. Why didn't he seek investment partners to finish it? He filed for liquidation in 2019 or something and didn't even update the backer blog to say so! Wear your bowler hat chap! at least communicate effetively!!! It's a company that could generate a good profit with 30% higher sales cost. I think that he should go and seek partners at samsung, panasonic, red, LG, China, Taiwan... What a nutter?!!?!? having such a good project inhand and failing at the maths, did some customers left behind? there should be a 27% margin for the budget. it failed prior to covid too. Good luck to graham, especially with communicating with other technologists that would aid his company for free, what an erroneous foresight, lack of teamwork, lack of networking, maths and delocalization on FPS 1000!!! www.google.com/search?q=the+slow+motion+camera+company+ltd+liquidation So... Why did he take orders for fps4000 a few weeks before liquidation? that's suspicious, it sounds like a finance scam, what happened to those order refunds? not enough of them? I am amazined that Mr Rowan went tits-up with a totally viable business. be open and share your journey on your Vlog Mr Rowan, otherwise people will think that you are a/effete b/untrustworthy c/both... communicate you clearly are good at presenting.

Hi Mat, Great review. I'm currently using the epiphan Webcaster X2 for streaming. But since that product is no longer produced, I've been looking for a replacement. The heart of the X2 is an Android PC that makes it easy for me to choose fx which facebook group to stream to. Unfortunately it only shows 50 random groups, and I so have to go into facebook and unsubscribe to the groups shown as available in the X2 until eventually the group I actually want to stream to, is showing up in the limited group list on the X2. My question is; how does the Helo interface handle choosing which facebook group to stream to?

Hey Mat, Good day! You've been a great guide for us in the past and I have a pressing question. I am considering getting an ATEM TV Studio Pro (either HD or 4K) and I need to know what option I have to record ISO cameras. Can the SDI outputs be configured to output individual cameras? If not, can I route all my cameras into hyperdeck minis before they hit the switcher? Thanks so much!

What's the point of saying how cheap everything is? Everything is cheap relative to your budget. A $20k studio is cheaper than a $2 million studio but it is still $20k. Video would be more informative if he gave specifics. But thanks for posting, still very interesting.
@MatCooper5 жыл бұрын
I see your point, But I use the term cheap here, because you'd struggle to make a reliable system and cheaper... at the time. If you've only got £500 to spend on a studio then being realistic its not going to happen. But I will be making an update to this very soon for 2020

Hey Mat, I just wanted to share this video with you so you can see how the HELO looks with the Sony A7 series. It's a beautiful combo for live work, although a bit complicated. I'm looking for a hardware encoder that is a little more simple for people on my team to use. Something similar to the helo but with more automated settings for bitrate, etc. Any ideas?

Also, expand the LUT side on the Sumo... ability to color grade footage (not just applying a persons lut), and save the look created as a LUT file you create on the Sumo. The Sumo should have its own OS, not just the same system used on the ninja or shogun line. This device can do sooo much more than what your offering

Add pure audio recording facility - software based, for audio field recording (for backing sounds and sound effects) or podcasts... it xlr and phantom power, adding proper audio controls (EQ, software faders etc...) - and ability to save in Wav / MP3 / AIFF etc... pretty much a 2 channel Zoom F4... get on it Atomos.
