I visited Cambodia in 2015 and also went and payed my respect to the people that lost there lives in the killing fields, I can honestly say it was the saddest place i have ever visited the pain and suffering the Cambodian people went through left me lost for words, I am due to visit Cambodia again next year 2023 to siem reap and learn more history about this great country, Thank you for making such a great vlog for the world to learn from.

There are a lot of truncated truth about history out there. I written this comment because someone called you Pol Pot but no one really know who is Pol Pot because most author truncated some part of his family history. Ben Kiernan written 400 plus pages about him but truncated two very important tragedy experienced by his family caused by the west. Cambodia was probably the only country in this world that asked the French to colonized them. The Monarch of Cambodia asked the French to protect them from the dual calamities in the hand of the Thai and Vietnamese in 1863. Twenty three years later in 1886, Pen, Pol Pot's grandfather was killed by the French ambushed for help organized supplies for rebellion against the French. The killing of Pen by the French tell a lot about who was Pol Pot. After all, the French saved the Khmer from the dual calamities and his grandfather rebelled against the French. The second tragedy his family experienced caused by the west was his childhood home was bombed and destroyed by the US bombing in 1973. These dual tragedies may cause a man to go mad, but his cabal killing in Cambodia wasn't because he went mad. But he was simply following order of his family duty. His family was always aligned with those associated with the anti-Khmer Monarchy and anti-French organization. This part of Pol Pot history should be study by most authors but its seem like every historians followed the same bandwagon of he left his parents at a very young age psychological problem.
