The best thing about TLG releasing this R2? The price of a used big R2 set has dropped massively! I bought a used version of the bigger R2 for only £50! And am gonna probably spend that again colour swapping parts to make my own astromech- I’m thinking either R4-K5 or R2-B1! 😂

Nice video. I was disappointed that the owlery seemed more of a display piece rather than a playset. Additionally, it appears to intended to a stand-alone structure, i.e. no connection points.

Have you ever thought about doing LEGO store visit videos when you buy the set(s) or live streaming during release dates if you shop online. The latter would allow you to interact with fans in real time and drive up engagement on your channel

I had this set as a kid, but I was too stupid for lego and I dismantled it. However I might be able to find a minifigs from it.

I’m torn on whether or not to commit to this full system for a few years or to get the micro scale set that just came out. Getting the micro scale one would allow me to get other themes in the future as well, but there are so many mini figures and other scenes that I would love to have from the larger system.

It looks like in the movie. Why should I buy LEGO instead of a model kit? Is there even appeal for the manchild audience when there is NOTHING unique about this set?
