I think they had to simplify the fang-fighter to not go over the price-point. I personally would've made the Tie Interceptor just a 2 studs scale smaller/shorter and would've added the Fang-fighters rotating fight function to it to make it more interesting. But I'm not unhappy, its the once set I bought this year.

Man, my father basically gifted me the UCS Interceptor, it is difficult to justify the purchase of a playscale one, but gosh, this is a rare one and might not come for years after retirement. Very difficult decision....

Great review, I would've gotten this but the quality of the fang fighter turned me from it. It's original adaption in the animated show rebels had the fighters with fully rotating wings, not the worst but severely disappointing as a fan of the fighter
