Nice one! Getting into the head of the WOD is really good and the very least to share the inner narratives and coping strategies to get the work done.. So true to say that it doesn't get easier., instead your willingness to ensure the pain perhaps increases along with capability to go deeper into the pain cave.

Hi how were you feeling 2 months after the treatment?? I have been off of it for 2 months and the side effects on aches are much worse. I have a lot of chest, rib cage and neck pain. When I was on it they didn’t hurt as much but now that I’ve been off Accutane the pains got so much worse. Please let me know
@HanLifts3 күн бұрын
2 months after I still felt pretty rough. I’d say it was at least 6 months until I felt ‘normal again’ but it does get better!!

The Titles of your Videos are translated to German now. Makes no sense since your video is still English, and also the translation is really weird, no German would write a title like that. Just my 2 cents, no hate ;)

yes! I’ve had it for like 3 years now and I’m just ‘normal’. I definitely have heavier periods and more pain but no excessive bloating anymore

@HanLifts thanks SO much. I have serious bloating. I lift too, was concerned about this being a normal thing. Lots of women do say they gain weight on it.
@HanLifts13 күн бұрын
@ no worries! At the beginning I think it was just because it was new and I wasn’t comfortable. I never heard that people gained weight on it as it has no impact on hormones or anything!

why are you doing 'no foot snatches?' did you notice that if you lose contact with the floor you tend to miss more often? I do believe that missing forward occurs mostly because of the poor ankle mobility, good lifters even if the snatch isnt perfect can compensate with good bottom position, if you are not stable in the bottom you have to execute snatch perfetcly, most people can do overhead squat with good bottom position, but doing it and controlling the process with weight helping you to reach the bottom isnt the same as snatching, in the snatch it would be perfect if you can catch in the bottom freely, with not using the bar, weight to reach that position. I also do believe that people who struggle with ankle mobility may have better results (especially repeatability at higher %rep max) with "no foot variations", obviously if the starting position will be wide enough. It happens because you can try to use the weight of the bar easier to reach that position as your feet staying in the same position, not being in the air. what do you think?
@HanLifts13 күн бұрын
I do no feet because as I’m so tall moving my feet didn’t feel efficient. As my starting position is already wide then moving my feet made the positive even wider it wasn’t comfortable. People who have good ankle mobility and mobility in general WILL be better lifters due to their ability to get into better positions and be more comfortable under the barbell. I have also found no feet variations are a great way to teach you to finish the pull/final extension as well as get into the bottom position more efficiently!

Ego lifting isn’t a crime 🤣... but sometimes, when you ego lift, life hits you hard. I think ego lifting can be good occasionally because it helps boost your mood. However, you need to choose the right day and not go overboard. In conclusion, ego lifting is fine for me, but only occasionally and with moderation Buen fin de semana 😎😎😎
