They are skating on thin ice when you start changing their product. If SE feels their work is miss represented in any way, Horizon will be shut down. They have already had their hand slapped with promoting their server. I think if Horizon wants to continue, they should stop changing the product and just release things how they were. You seem to fly better under the radar like that.

To fix the Tiny UI Chat box settings - once you follow what the Video tells you to do; Go to the HorizonXI Launcher ->Settings->Graphics->Menu Resolution ->put a lower Resolution ; For example I'm at: General Resolution: 3840x2160 , Background Resolution: 3840x2160, Menu Resolution: 1360x768 . Hope this helps -You can also resize the HXUI (target bar, party bar , etc) type /hxui in game, go to each section you want to chage and resize the X, Y axis for each target menu you like to make smaller or bigger

This doesnt event create a desktop shortcut, its pointless to waste time trying to play this server

Hey Abe. Hope you can help with my current issue. My graphics are flickering, shadows and lights flickering. Especially in cities. Not so much in bigger open areas but I'm sure it does it too.

I'm on a laptop with 1920X1080 native resolution. To fix my issue, I had to go to display and change my scale and layout to 100% and not the recommended 125%. But I'll try your way and see if I can go back to 125% and make the icons on my desktop bigger again.

"Can solo almost the entire game." That almost is doing an incredible amount of heavy lifting. I love old school 75 FFXI and am playing HorizonXI. But lying(or possibly just unintentionally misrepresenting) about retail is, for me personally, not necessary.

I think that some "quality of life" improvements were very necessary. When a game wastes your time as aggressively as early FFXI did, it's a problem. I say that with love, as FFXI is my favorite MMORPG of all time. I spent more than a literal year of my life logged in, and I never even got to true endgame content. So much time doing mindless and repetitive tasks, wasting hours for drops that would get claimed by bots, artificial scarcity of certain things to an absurd degree, etc... I would absolutely love to have a private server that recreates the content from the original release and gradually adds the expansions in over time, but also reduces the amount of sheer hours required to accomplish basic tasks so that adults with full time jobs and personal lives can enjoy it. I want all the challenge and social aspect, but just not the life-draining grind of repetitive tasks.
