She was freaking hilarious!!! “Would you like to eat for me toooo” 😂😂😂 then the way she was focused on topping off the ham at the end lmao She was genuinely herself

R.I.P. Aretha Franklin!

When she had that curly hair it didn't fit on her, especially when she had gained a lot of weight, no offense absolutely. She looked better with short straight hair or a little longer. I don't have idea how this ham could taste like, I don't understand what it was made of.

LOVE her!! I loved how she wasnt playing with the toppings! Just a scoop of icing the peach cobbler should already be amazing! No need for caramel, whip cream, powdered sugar, etc.

Well aretha franklin was 1 that was not to b played with. She didnt care what ur status as a celebrity was she would get u 2gether if u came 4her n the wrong way. Comma dot and period! Now aretha's weight has always fluctuated through the yrs. But she was never this huge as she is n this interview. But theres a reason 4it. Her doctors were also using steroids as a form of treatment 4her the pancreatic cancer that she was dealing with at that time unbeknownst to the world because aretha franklin was a very private person and she guarded that privacy with great diligence. What steroids do is make u awesomely hungry all the time. So u over eat.

You can tell Emeril was thrown off - I remember when this aired. Aretha wasn’t supposed to be on the show that day - her people literally called and said she wanted to sit in on the show - LAST MINUTE for her birthday! Emeril and team made it happen for the Queen.

Now that's a gorgeous way to prepare a ham...northern Detroit style. Here in Texas, we will add a bit of bbq sauce.

The way she cut that step and shouted WITH THE BOSTON POPS made me cry when this aired. She is was and will forever be THE SOUL of SOUL MUSIC and that she would go there whenever the Spirit hit it and turn any place into a Tabernacle just makes my heart vibrate with fire!

In all the genius and glory of Aretha, I can't believe she traveled with this subpar band during the 60s, they couldn't match the Queen's presence!

We miss you Ree Ree! The ham looks delicious. She had a funny dry sense of humor. She cooked a ham on Martha Stewart several years ago looked good also. Just never liked the way her banana pudding or that peanut butter and shrimp looked
