Just so you know I have tested with Red Sea, Salifert, and Hanna. The other day I got values for PO4 between .1 to .14. For NO3, I got values 1-3. For my NP, I get No3 15 and PO4 0. I dont expect the numbers to be "exact" here, but they should be close. Trident NP is no where. Please let us know when the new Calibration Standard is going to be available I see people talking about in the community.

Love my Trident and EcoTech MP40's. Two items of interest I have a questions on. 1. When will the VERSA pump line be brought into the Neptune fold for support thru Mobius/Apex; and 2. Can Neptune look into revising the self repair kit for the Trident to include the secondary reagent hoses that run thru the solenoids and wear/get crushed?

That does not explain getting a zero reading 100% of the time.

I hope the current Neptune employees would pay close attention to the first 5 minutes of this. They are no longer showing these core values

I use the BRS heater and then use and inkbird to regulate the temperature and then the controller is the backup. This way the cheapest item, the inkbird is handling most of the on and off cycles and is the cheapest to replace.

I prefer to have the heater or secondary heater controller turn the heater on/off. If these components fail the Apex is the final failsafe. I would rather replace a heater or heater controller vs replacing an EB832 that fails from constantly cycling on/off.

Come on guys….should have used a diamond bit for a cleaner cut…

I for one have had nothing but a great experience with both my regular trident and np. It has helped me be more successful. Key word, HELPED. Thank you gentltmen.

I did exactly what was explained so that the skimmer would not overflow and it did not solve the problem. With each power surge the skimmer turns on along with the other return pumps.

got a new phone and nothing is working. we spend all this money on this crap for it not work when we need it to. really, it shouldn't be this hard to connect to a new phone

A3 apex ....reset to connect....works for five minutes then disconnected again... tried eithernet setup ...exact same result...like I have a bad brain or something

Updated work around: I put the apex into “blue” setup mode. I opened the fusion app under my normal WiFi. (Not the apex setup WiFi), Selected the “link apex”. Followed the prompts of setting up the apex. It allowed me to select a new WiFi network. After connecting, the app advised me the apex was already tied to another link setup. Exit out of the pop up in the app and my apex was connected to the new network.

Before I started saltwater, I was gonna get hydros. Then videos on KZbin like this persuaded me to go with Neptune. As soon as I have my first problem with my trident, I'm not gonna even have it repaired. I'm buying the hydros like I originally wanted

I got the NP day one and it hasn’t had a correct PO4 reading yet. Most users are having the same problem so they tried to update the NP for better po4 readings. It’s still kinda bad.

Video is a joke. Vic seems visibly uncomfortable to be there and seems really hesitant on what Pat is pushing. Plus it’s funny that Pat praises WWC for getting success with running things simple and pushes controllers on Vic while his own tanks sound like a pile of hot garbage and he’s trying to promote Vic to use the same products he does. Why show a video of Neptune pushing products on a store owner instead of showing actually on their systems?

My original trident is having issues where the pipes are clogging and it is a pain in the neck to fix it mostly due to the design of the trident. I had it twice with the water feed line and now with the reagent A line. I am considering buying the conversion kit from PrintReef to have an easier / less bulky design and so I won't buy the NP for now. It is nice when it is working but half of the time I had the original trident it is not working properly (mostly because I am too busy with other stuff).
