What's the wooden toggles on the rear risers, is that something you added for comfort?
@pharveycollard7 ай бұрын
Hi, it’s a rear riser toggle that comes standard with most two liner wings, for active piloting during trim or accelerated flight.

Superb! Tricky launches and landings for sure. With all the comps you are doing you will qualify for P5 soon. BTW USHPA now let's you keep your previous ratings if you let your membership lapse, Nick Greece told us that at RedRocks.

@pharveycollard9 ай бұрын

why when you landed in the mountains did it look like you dont flair at all (17:30 by the shadow and how hard you hit)but then after you say you flaired well?
@pharveycollard9 ай бұрын
Hi, it’s not really shown well in the footage so you’ll have to take my word for it 😊. There was a pretty good swoop and pitch back. Maybe a camera angle view effect. You can’t really judge the impact force on this type of video, goes both ways. But hey it’s a tailwind landing after all so it does look a bit fast 😮

Patrick, this is a SUPERB video in every way! Every scene, every clip adds to the story, the videography, framing and editing is flawless. The scenery is stunning, totally storybook. Your flying skills, already excellent when you were here, are astounding. This old man can never hope to do any of what you are accomplishing, but I still aspire to take a flycation there and ride some trams up to those edelweiss-infested launches! When did you get the Zeolite GT?

Dreams do come true! This is the best video I have watched in a long time. Cruising over the most spectacular parts of the Alps, Marmolade, the main Dolomites, cloud surfing- totally unreal and storybook. Who was that overhead at 17:34? What harness are you flying?

Hi Rob, I practiced something like 3 hours in that session. I had tried before but never that much. I watched tutorials from Theo de Blic and others to get tips too.
