Fun paragliding sunset soaring session at La Bajada

La Bajada, NM, is a premium winter soaring site. The complete absence of thermals late in the day in the winter leaves only a smooth valley flow that is excellent for ridge soaring.
I was pretty held-up at work, but I managed to get away and join Max and Justin for a late flight. The conditions were excellent! Beautiful sunset in magical air. I flew 46 minutes and top-landed 5 times, but never put the wing down.
... And yes, it's a whiskey shot that I had while kiting, and no, it did not impair my judgement! Enjoy!

It can get big, as much of New Mexico! I typically fly the mountains in the summer.
