Mont Blanc Air Tour 2023 - a perfect hike and fly paragliding race around Mt Blanc!

This is a "long form" edit of my adventure at the Mont Blanc Air Tour, a 3 day hike and fly paragliding race around Mt Blanc. The style of the race is perfect: self supported (Eigertour-style) with a good mix of flying and landing turnpoints.
The weather was fantastic, and so we were able to go around Mt Blanc and the Chablais, and have a lot of fun!

Holy cow! What an adventure, I enjoyed every bit of it. Very nice footage :) Hopefully in the future I'll be able to afford some H&F gear and start doing something nice ;D

Hi, it’s Gaia gps for hiking maps, and good old google earth with kk7 thermal layers and route.

why when you landed in the mountains did it look like you dont flair at all (17:30 by the shadow and how hard you hit)but then after you say you flaired well?

Hi, it’s not really shown well in the footage so you’ll have to take my word for it 😊. There was a pretty good swoop and pitch back. Maybe a camera angle view effect. You can’t really judge the impact force on this type of video, goes both ways. But hey it’s a tailwind landing after all so it does look a bit fast 😮
