Hello, Did you use the OEM sealant rings for the header exhaust when installing? There seems to be some smoke coming out of my header.

@@BuletChips I did use the oem gasket, but probably a good idea to get a new one if you can. Sounds like you have an exhaust leak likely the gasket.

I love my bike but first thing I did was pay for the android app to make the services myself and not rely on dealer to turn on or off features. I can reset service light and enable addons

These washers aren't the same spec as the Triumph part but if they are working, is that because of the K&N filter or because it's just a millimeter difference on diameter and thickness, so negligible?

let us know how they do keeping dust out! I haven't seen those yet, and they look really stout. Also like that you can still used stuff mounted to the sides of the bed. I've got all my recovery gear strapped to the sides. looks like you could still used some of the bed space on top too. I love drawers, but i use my bed too much, lol. Even blow up the air mattress and camp out under the diamondback cover sometimes.

Exactly! I have Molle panels on the side of my truck bed and with these drawers I can still access my compressor, shovel, etc. I hear you though, it took me awhile to commit to the drawers! I will keep you updated.

A few more things: Their website says it’s built for outdoor use and extremely weather resistant. The pallet it arrived on weighed 490lbs but I’m not sure what the unit itself weighs. Listed price on their website right now is $2999.

Is there any highway droning? Have you noticed and difference when the AFM/DFM system drips 8cyl to 4cyl? Co worker had to install a tuner to disable AFM because the droning inside the cab was terrible.

I used a leather hole punch. Matched it up with the original strap and marked the holes. Cut to length. Installed like normal strap and seat clicked in like a charm. I still have to sit on it to turn key to remove seat. Also, I would advise against using the strap as any kind of handle. I use it for looks and stopped my hat from blowing away. Cheers

I haven’t found a good velcro that sticks to my headliner. Even Velcro patches that are originally made with velcro don’t stick all too great

@@Soldier1287 try adding the sewing pin. It doesn’t leave any holes and they won’t fall. I use a key or something hard to push them in all the way. I linked the Velcro and sewing pins I used in the description of this video.

@@nyquillisdillwad2824 I believe it’s the midland mxt275. And I have a few hand held gxt3000 and I put them on the same channel and hand them out to family and friends when we are caravaning. I think the antenna adds an extra 2-3 miles. It definitely is needed compared to the little standard antenna.

3:45...Hard to believe that was altitude sickness. San Gorgonio trailhead parking lot is only 6000ft. Most likely you were car sick from the drive up. If it was altitude sickness you would not feel better going higher to 11,000 ft. I've gotten sick at the beginning of long hikes, and walked it off, but it was an upset stomach, not altitude.

I purchased a 2023 Trident 660 brand new from a dealership. Love the bike, but will probably NEVER buy another Triumph because of their dealership network. Hands down, The worst dealerships I have ever had to do business with. Its a damn shame, because they make some nice rides but the dealerships make me never want to buy another one, at least not a new one where I have to do business with them.

enjoyed the simple approach to install inexpensive aftermarket parts. i can turn a few bolts but like to install simple little appreance mods, so thank you. im trying to install an exhaust maifold cover to help protect my pipes from rock and debris, what i bought is a two piece wrap around but has no instruction and im at a loss how to get this done. over run by HD's in Sturgis South Dakota, my other bike is hi-way ryder , '23 Triglide i call it my sofa on wheel, gotta love the triumph
