@@TheDutchTexanGames I hope that you are right and that this also applies to sound. As i am getting older my ears are getting more sensitive to this stuff, and i would like to enjoy kuttenberg or the simple farming life like you could in the first game, without having to mess around with the settings every time i stay in town.

I hope the customization options go further than the first one in that regard too.

@@Yourconradinarms both combined are bigger. There are some videos that shows Kuttenberg in the lower right corner while the rest is still obscured. That map alone is pretty darn big. Kuttenberg wasn’t even 1/8th of the map and that city looks massive from what we’ve seen. The Trosky map is smaller but still going to have a ton to do and see with the bohemian paradise being there.

There are going to be plenty more towns surrounding Kuttenberg but it definitely is the hub. The game looks a ton better than the first one and the facial animations are next level. And it seems to be running a whole lot better too so they definitely did some work optimizing as well.

@@Dominik40301 You're seeing things. KCD1 didn't use motion capture, KCD2 does. I'm playing KCD currently and as much as I love the game the faces are completely emotionless. and Kutenberg obviously isn't the only city it's just where the demo is set. Ragebait..sigh

There are one big city (much bigger than Rattay) and multiple villages similar like in KCD1. I dont agree that faces looks whorse. They looks little bit different due to motion capture but not whorse in my opinion.

For sure! This game is going to have so much more time wasting potential... I always took my weapons to Rattay and sharpened them all prior to selling them. It was therapeutic. With proper blacksmithing now becoming a thing (and potentially a bunch more) I'll be wasting more time doing those things. Trying to craft the ultimate sword!

Same, as someone who works and is a parent I get pulled in a ton of different directions. But I've loved it since day one and when I finished it I was a happy camper. I wanted to know what was going to be next. We've got that answer a few month ago. And it's going to be awesome!

Probably, they've showed us a lot but they have held plenty back. It's going to be over 100h of gameplay so we might get surprised along the way!

Never got into the assassins creed games. The hype 100% is with KCD2 for me as well. But I am still looking forward to this game as well.

And that is 100% fine. If we all liked the same stuff things would get boring quick. But KCD2 > Dragon Age on the hype. If the amount of KCD content on my channel doesn’t give it away already…

@@TheDutchTexanGames I don’t know why they have gone this route. I have played a thousand hours of all three DA games plus all DLC, but they have lost me now.

@@michaelbaker2626 perhaps just let it play out. Check some reviews of people who aren't paid for them and perhaps pick it up on sale down the line. I am keeping an open mind even though I clearly still have my reservations about it. I see the potential, and the more mass effect style of combat works for me. (Although I do miss that second tank, I always ran with 2 tanks (myself being one), 1 mage and a rogue)

Epic indeed. This game is going to be SO good!

It’s everything KCD1 should have been. Now they have the resources to make it happen. And they are showing up in a big way. The side stuff (smithing, horse customization etc) is going to keep me busy for hours.

Also, if you checked the gameplay trailer when he sells that bow to trader in Kuttenberg, stats are boosted to above 20, he had agility 25 and vitality 30, they aim for higher numbers, also armor, i think he had about 250 armor per body part while in KCD 1 we had around 40-50. Dont know why, but developers often boost number values in sequals, in many games.

@@Dominik40301 maybe there are gonna be more heavy armor perks? like in Skyrim. Maybe there will be option to "re-forge"/temper pieces of armor.

I think there is more at play than just there. It is part of it for sure, checking boxes for the sake of checking boxes just doesn't go over well. There needs to be a proper storyline and effort. Just a low effort hero shooter isn't going to cut it anymore. The people who created it weren't at all exited and the marketing has been lackluster. If I am completely honest, it is a genre I hope fades away. We are seeing more and more great single player titles lately and while I enjoy online shooters from time to time my true passion is single player with an immersive story that unfolds in front of me with characters I can learn to love or hate. The original Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age Origins / Inquisition and naturally Kingdom Come: Deliverance which sequel I am really looking forward to. Also looking forward to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but not to the level of KCD. KCD is the GOAT right now.

Jan Valta and his orchestra are a big part of why KCD1 was a success. It fits the tone perfectly. The music alone is enough to transport me into a different mind state. The visuals then complete the package.

Disney isn’t what it used to be… That’s for sure.

It really helps when the world is alive and there are so many things to do all around. There is a gentle push to complete the storyline but it branches off in many ways and I love that about KCD. No doubt KCD2 is going to have the same if not more!

Right? Can’t wait for it!
