I'm going to play both Avowed and KCD 2. I have to say that I find it strange that so many people these days put so much emphasis on playing a game Day 1. Why does that matter so much? If two (or more) games you're interested in are released close to each other just pick the one you're interested in the most and play the others later. No need to feel pressured - games are supposed to be fun, nothing more, nothing less. They are absolutely not meant to be work - something way too many streamers and other content creatures are getting a bit wrong these days.

The emphasis on a day 1 buy is to let people know you are really looking forward to it. It is absolutely not work for me. Heck. when a game becomes a chore it usually gets cast aside. I work in real life, don't want that in my games and this channel isn't big enough to create revenue anyway. Even if it gets there, I'll create the content I want to create, not chase SEO. Right now happens to be a busy period for me. But there will come a time I won't be creating content for weeks. I'll always do it for fun. The videos I make on them is just a way to let my creativity flow. In the case of KCD I'll likely have a new PC but Dragon Age? Still the old rig. 100% going to run a section as a benchmark to see how the old 4790k fares against a 2024 AAA title. I might do a 20 hour review but that's it. Thinking about Warhammer too, no way the 4790k is going to hack that right? Creating gaming content is fun. And reading comments on the videos even more so. Thank you for yours!

@@TheDutchTexanGames Dragon Age... I'm still not sure if I really want to buy that. They completely ruined the game with this action combat HS - Dragon Age has always been RTwP, tactical combat and a real party composition and what did they do with Veilguard? Action combat and only 3 characters in the party. If I want action combat I play a Soulslike, not Dragon Age. The Veilguard can only be a 4 out of 10 for this violation alone, and that doesn't even include all the other questionable stuff.

@@Hauke-ph5ui I can understand that. I am admittedly a bigger mass effect fan. That is probably why I didn't mind the switch to 3 characters in the party. Their reveal this year missed the mark, 100%. But for me personally the gameplay looks good and there is undoubtedly a story there. It is also rated M, which was my main sticking point since they went very PG with everything they had shown up till this point. Still goofy at times with the art direction but I am giving it a shot. Especially since I need to have something to play till Henry comes to see us!

@@TheDutchTexanGames Well - I'm a WoW player so I'll be very busy for the next few months anyway because of the new expansion that launches next week. When WoW dials down a bit I'll play Black Myth: Wukong and there's also another DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3 on the horizon at the end of the year. Easily enough to keep me busy^^ And if the unthinkable should happen and I end up having a bit of spare time I can always fill that with another Subnautica playthrough or a bit of Enshrouded or No Rest for the Wicked. Oh and now that I think about it - I still haven't finished Phantom Liberty and only have 4 completed playthroughs of BG3 so far. More a case of too much to play and too little time^^

Im still a little disappointed in it being pushed back but im not surprised. Instead of realising in the 10-12th month of 2024 its realising in the 14th month of 2024 😔 a little bit of a shame. But im glad they're letting the game cook longer instead of selling something half baked, we remember what happened with cyberpunk and so many people played the first and didn't give it a second chance because Of the bugs. Overall it looks amazing so far and i love that box art for the collector's edition. Im hoping it'll come with a dice set, some art for my wall and a cool pre-order bonus like a sick looking suit of armour or sword.

@@briannaal3935 and Cyberpunk stacked delays too. This really sounds like a delay to put the finishing touches on it. And from a business perspective it works too, why release when there is a ton of other competitors vying for the same dollars? Give yourself some breathing room! I wouldn’t expect a suit of armor or a sword. The box is too small for that one! I figure a $200ish price point with a bunch of cool little things. Cloth maps, Jan Valta CD with the soundtrack? Poster perhaps? Statuette? I’d love a KCD stein to drink my beer out of.

@@briannaal3935 hahaha! I was focused on the physical stuff in that box! Gimme the stuff I can touch! Have you seen the exclusive swords they forged for backers? Beautiful pieces. For some reason I don’t get any value from an exclusive in game item. It sometimes even ruins the experience if it’s a goated sword or armor piece.

People complaining about it being "delayed" are dumb IMO, we weren't given a release date, but a window.. Pushing back releases are common so thats WHY they give windows not dates.
