What i cant stand is people pulling out all the way into the crosswalk when theyre in the left turn lane. And i cant see around their stupid compensating-for-their-micro-weiner-truck when im trying to make a right turn at the stop light.

Does that conduit not require the use of primer before you apply the glue? Most plastic pipe requires a primer to clean of any oxidation and dirt and softens up the plastic so that the glue can cause the plastic to properly melt the surface from both pipe surfaces together so they make a proper water and air tight joint. Keeping water and dirt out of the conduit will be critical to making any wire that needs to be replaced or added in the future a lot easier. Remember how hard that wire you pulled earlier was because of the dirt that got into the conduit. Properly sealed joints and ends would have prevented that.

Man… there’s a light by me that has caught me three times on my way home. I legit used my car cameras to ensure I was behind the line and exactly in the middle of the lane and everything and it took four cycles of the other lights for me to give up and run the light the first two times it happened. This was 5am, so no one was really on the road and I made sure it was clear, obviously. The third time this happened, it changed after three cycles of the other lights. I hate that intersection so much.

There's a small intersection where I live where its 90% of the time green and will only turn red if there's a car in the one road but they have to be like on the line bc that sht will never turn green for them otherwise.

I don't stop beyond the white line, but when I was a kid, probably 8 or something, maybe 12, timeline is always fuzzy. My father asked me if I notice the rectangles on the road that appear when you reach a red light, he told me it's a sensor, so that it can tell a car is there and let the light change. I thought it was a myth, and all it was, was a timer on the light, I was a dumbass kid. I still didn't really believe it, but figured he couldn't be lying so I always stop where the zones should be. Except there's one fucking light that takes hours to go from red to green at night. Really irritating. I can adjust as much as I want to be perfectly in it, that shit won't change

Meh. I ride a bike. Doesn’t matter where “ the zone “ is. Sporting an anluminum engine and aluminum frame. I got a few steel bolts but that not enough to interfere with the induction loop. So I’ll pull up deliberately in front of “ the zone “ bouncing off the rev limiter until a vehicle comes up behind me and triggers it. Or I’ll put my side stand down walk over and hit the pedestrian crossing button.

In Europe we have the traffic lights where you stop, so you can't see them if you go too far anyway. Best motivation imo

This happened because the yellow light was too short of a time to turn on thats what hes not telling you. A yellow light must be on for a least 5 seconds. Any shorter & you can complain to the city for improper setup time. I've seen them as short as 2 seconds.
