Great reaction guys. You’re right that is Saki and I agree with you about the mix. Mary’s Blood was my introduction to Saki before Nemophila was formed. She’s an outstanding guitarist.

Mary’s Blood is great and kill it live. That whole concert had shit mixing and you did not really get to see them shine. About 5-6 years ago their label pulled live vids off KZbin. There are though a few remaining with good sound. I am going to get you links to 2 of them. @@TJandTheGringa Mary's Blood was extremely talented, note their bassist Rio said her musical inspiration was ABBA (yes, the 60s Swedish Disco band). They had 6 studio albums all placed around 18-25 on the Billboard charts.

Mary's Blood was formed by former members of Destrose. After a couple lineu9 changes Saki also a former Destrose Guitarist joined them. Saki when doing a separate project of Worlds Women Guitarists Formed Nemophilia as a side project doing cover songs not original material. Mary's Blood disbanded a couple years ago, and just recently Saki left Nemophilia over creative differences with other band members to work on her solo career.

Sorry but this story if off about Nemophila’s formation. Mayu wanted to do a show after she left Lipstick. First she found fellow classmate and bassist Haraguchi-San. They then reached out to Tamu the drummer who knew Saki and Saki brought Hazuki in. Saki as the oldest most experienced member originally was just going to act as a mentor but magic happened when they played. Her split with Nemophila was amicable and nothing nasty was said by anyone. Also Mary’s Blood has never disbanded they are on indefinite hiatus. Saki, Eye, Rio and Mari still list themselves as members. Saki does have ex-Nemophila on her status.

I'm subscribing as I enjoy your reactions so far. Cant wait to see if your journey to JP metal leads you to more bands with sick vocals and guitars like Mardelas (Bullseye live or Apocalypse studio are great first choices) or Unlucky Morpheus (there's cadaver/redavac where they play a song and then play it again in reverse, or carry on singing to the sky which is dedicated to the dead Angra singer, lots of great live options too like Angreifer).

Some of my favorites from Rolling Quartz include: "Blaze" (their debut), "Holler", "Rock and Roll Paradise", "Azalea", "Pink Drop" (mashup collaboration with Alexa), the Rock version of "Extra" (collab. with Alexa) ... So, obviously, I think you should check those out. Their latest song/album is "Victoy", their cover of "Good Night" (originally by Dreamcatcher) is quite popular with their fans. So you might be interested in checking those out... along with everything else they've done. It's all great.

@@TJandTheGringa Hmmmm .... it is so random! It is difficult to react to Babymetal. Blocks and strikes seems to rain at you at random. As far as I understand, one of the main problems with Japanese music is that there is no "fair use" in Japan. Therefore, the companies can do whatever they wish and you have no legal complaints. Its all up to the companies.

Great reaction! You'd love the Japanese female drummer Junna. She's joined the band Hagane recently, but I would check out her solo channel first, or even the Junna compilation video. She is a freaking JOY to watch and her talent is craaaazy good. (I should add Chika is a fav of mine too, SOOO good, and Hanabie is my favorite band)

The movie RHRN is awesome: a ringside seat to the concert(s). I was there on 9-11. The lore is fun if you're into that, but even if you're not a fan of the lore, there are funny moments, and some very positive messages. Great reaction! 🔥🤘😜🔥
