I am south of Phx, AZ and some of our dealers down here will actually load used car photos of cars before they get detailed. Some are really gross. Not sure of the thinking on that. Great work on your part.

Arkansas here! I have a question, what do you recommend for killing odor after shampooing seats/carpets ?

Dry it out extremely well. Air flow through the car with a box fan for 8 hours usually does it. Then an odor bomb will work for anything remaining

That's wild that people actually trade in cars in that condition. A simple detail will at least get you a slightly better trade in deal. I wanna say you're leaving anywhere from 500 to 1k on the table towards your trade in when you bring the car trashed like that. I could be wrong though.

This car, like many in the USA, would be considered a luxury vehicle in my country. Something that only the rich (top 5%) can afford. Seeing it treated like trash like this hurts. Edit: it would take around five and a half years of mininum wages to buy a used one from 2014.
