Can you do a video comparing the different Atemoya varieties? Flavor Sweetness Size Texture Seed quantity Hand pollination required Shelf life after ripe Anything else you think is important.

It is actually called Chirimoya. I grew up eating them and love their flavor. They are soft and creamy.

@@ruthmitchell9224 there are 3 different fruits, cherimoya is one one then. The other two are atemoya and sugar apple. They each have their differences hence why they each have their own botanical name which identifies them into separate species.

These are often mislabeled at the grocery stores, thanks for clarifying! Another fruit that confuses me is the custard apple 😃.

Hello, do you trim your tree in September when the fruits are growing in size? Is it a good idea to trim away the extra branches and leaves that have no fruits, so the nutrients will concentrate and go into fruits on the tree. Thank you.

You should try using different sources of pollin because some hybrids produce lower quality pollin.

Many praise durian but it much inferior to the taste of cherimoya. I can say that cherimoya king of fruit, not durian.

They look a little disgusting like raw chocolate plant but apparently they taste either like lemon and sweet or creamy and very sweet when they are redder. I can't wait to try and I think you could make a custard from them and/or bake them into a cake mixture.

I saw in a previous comment he said to do it when either when the tree stops producing fruit or early spring. I would do early spring because that’s when the tree is just waking up.
