I love the Armalite ar 50bmg a1. I only have one complaint with it. It's the bolt. It is smooth, but it's nosey. They need to slow the feed rate down on the finishing cut of the bolt. It makes a zipping noise when you open and close it. I can hear it on yours too. If you look at your bolt, you can see the finish marks, looking like threads. If they slow the feed rate down on the last cut, it will turn out real smooth. I use to work as a machinist. Some of the things we machine, we couldn't have machining marks. Has to have a smooth finish.

The UTAS UTS-15 is the only high capacity bullpup pump shotgun, with the features people actually want. The problem, is that it's a complete POS. With the KSG, it takes a lot of practice to switch when a tube is empty. The DP-12 is a nice shotgun, but it will take significant practice to remember to pull the trigger twice. Even if you practice, you may forget in a home invasion situation. I think bullpup shotgun manufactures are attempting to market towards law enforcement, despite the fact that the vast majority of consumers will be civilians, who will use them for home defense. Why can't they give us a reliable bullpup pump shotgun, that just pumps and shoots until both tubes are empty? That's what civilians want. We're not concerned with 00 Buck, rifled slugs, or non lethal rounds. Civilians are just going to load them with 00 Buck.

I agree 100% on the KSG tube switch. For home defense, the vast majority of people are going to just load both tubes with 00 Buck.

There's a KSG on sale for $590. But, I've had terrible luck with buying allegedly reliable firearms, only to have them malfunction. These days, with the new firearm shipping policies, sending guns for repair or replacement costs significantly more.

This is the 2nd generation KSG. I believe they improved several aspects.

I’m an 07/02 as well. Yes, it can be an SBR and machine gun. Per atf guidelines, if the receiver is the registered component, than no. If a trigger pack, or drop in machine gun type unit is registered, it can be both a machine gun and an SBR. Look at guns like the P90, Aug, fs2000, or HK roller delayed guns. The trigger pack on those fireams are the registered component meaning that has no precedence over the classification of another serialized component. Another thing to validate my claim can be seen on the civilian side. Hk/clone host guns and more rarely ar platforms can be seen in 3 stamp configurations. All this information was brought and verified by my field agent during my last audit November 2022.

The slide also locked up with a live round chambered, couldn't rack the slide. Would this fix that as well? Anyone else experienced this? Zev has not gotten back with me.
