Just played through Titanfall 2 for the first time yesterday. I have never been so emotionally connected to or moved by a video game ever before.

Apex kinda shat on titanfall lore after a while by changing the artstyle completely and shifting heavily away from Titanfall's lore and into a completely unrelated direction that breaks continuity with Titanfall. Like wtf is with Alter for example, dogshit character.

Ince multiplayer has been fixed on titanfall 2, I've noticed a rise of toxicity while playing. In one hand I am happy to play again, on the ither hand, f*** assholes with self-confidence issues...

Apex has gone down hill for me. Its disneys Titanfall to me. Titanfall will forever be one of my favorite experiences

The malcontent behind the Titanfall situation was certainly understandable but this was such an immature way to deal with it. Your player base is having problems and so the solution is to... go to another player base and ruin their game. Yeah, that tracks.

I was playing when the attack happened. I didn't even know what Titanfall was by that time so I just got pissed that I couldn't play. Now I've played Titanfall 2 and absolutely loved the game. Glad Respawn fixed it and now I understand the players desperate attempt to call attention to the state of the game, specially now that Apex is suffering from simmilar issues

Its worth mentioning the two people who performed the Apex hack were immediately banned from the save Titanfall discord server and ostracized by the whole community, none of us wanted them to do this

Hey this sounds a lot like another TF2 game who has recently gotten attention.

Hot take: I don't think there should be a Titanfall 3, Knowing EA is now fully focused on free-to-play games, and micro transactions. I don't trust them to make a titanfall game with that monetizing method. Besides the game is amazing and I'd rather play a dead game than have one be ruined by EA

Hopefully if we get titanfall 3 it will return to the morally grey area that the first one had, As its more than just IMC bad its also Milita bad too. examples: Blisk a sociopath, yes blisk is a sociopath the first game made that very clear anyways Blisk a sociopath employed by the IMC was the mastermind behind the G21 colony massacre. And the Milita uses clivilian ships as human sheilds in the fracture operation. and are stated to use plainclothes insurgents and were responsible for the Hammonds gate terrorist attack where aperantly civillans were killed. Right now i think that respawn only sees titanfall as a last resort if apex gets bad you know they will pull out all the stops with titanfall to save it.

Yeah the fact Titanfall 2's MP was completely inoperable and it was still being put ON SALE, just disgusting. As expected of EA. The server reboot for TF2 was great, brought a lot of people back but it still ain't perfect. Melee in TF2 became such a fuckin gamble, whereas before it was consistent. Regardless, glad it's back at all. Will forever be my fav movement shooter.

Apex Legends would greatly benefit from not being the game it is. Simple as.

I remember watching a more in-depth analysis of this topic, and the hackers that did that to apex were the same ones that were hacking the TF2 servers, and the page that was linked didn’t had anything to do with the hack itself, all of that an a essay explains that all that effort was to get the core-code (or whatever it is called) of titanfall online, so the hackers could build their own titanfall It was messed up

I'm late to the discussion; when the original servers came back last year, I was overjoyed. I have yet to play the fanbased server may in the future. Years ago, when speculation regarding the development of T3 was bandied about, I 'wished' that Devs would address the elephant [map] in the room. The Titans/Pilots are drippoed from space. Why not have two space maps? One in orbit on a direlect space ship. Both forces trying to board a derelict alien spaceship and recover the secrets inside? The Titans, with pilots, could battle on the ships. Maybe with asteroids nearby that both mechs and troops could vault to and from. If that wasn't possible, a ground-based region with its a hazardous environment that affected gameplay. Like a moon, with deep craters and alien flora and fauna that would hender friends and foes. Hell, an arena just combatingthose damn alien felinesfrom T2 would have been great! Better than a zombie mode. A shore landing or underwater environment where the water slowed movement reduced accuracy and range of not only hand-held weapons but Titan abilities. Maybe a planet that had reduced gravity and volcanic outbursts. Step on a crack in the ground and the Titan or pilot would take damage from the lava or steam imminating from ground fractures. Smoke [sulfur] obscuring vision. Periodic blasts, with volcanic rock showering down that, would cause damage if players were caught in the open. As for weapons and a net or glue grenades. Heavy weapons like harpoons that could attach to a Titan and keep them stationary. If close to another enemy titan the harpoon attach to that one too, both become immobileand defenseless.

Titan Fall 1 & 2 The Robotech is a games we should have gotten.
