This was a spectacular reunion event to see two Nickel Plate Road "Berkshire" type locomotives paired alongside one another and have a whistle battle and being photographed together. Nickel Plate "Berkshire" locomotives 757 and 765 are both excellent examples of NKP steam power and both look amazing posing next to each other, in my personal opinion the 757 had the better sounding whistle of the two locomotives. Berkshire 765 was necessary to supply steam heating for the whistle of engine 757 and both engines have their own interesting personal sounding whistle ; the NKP Berkshires are a handsome class of steam locomotive with a decent amount of fame surrounding them.

Very handsome "Pacific" type steam locomotive, the Grand Trunk Western railroad had a decent variety of attractive looking steam power, including their 4-8-4 and 4-6-2 type locomotives.

I just had surgery today, and I saw that good old engine on my way to the hospital. I remember seeing her at TVRM when I was younger. Then 2021 came around and I didn’t see her anywhere. It wasn’t until Summer of 2022 that I saw her again. I’m thinking about making a model of her using a Bachmann Spectrum Baldwin 4-4-0, as that model is the closest match to 349.

Love love love this locomotive she sounds so beautiful going the tracks and I been watching her on KZbin here and i have to say when i am in a mood or whatever i put on her sounds ans i am calm as a lamb She is my favorite engine and will never get tired of listening to her I am hoping she come out stronger and powerful and this year will be her year 12/25/25 Year of Pere Marquette 1225

5:25, CP 2816's last visit to the US was in 2008, not 2006. I'm glad I was along for some of these adventures. Definitely memorable year for sure. And I have to thank you for making it possible for me to finally cross off the Summerville Doubleheader, after 10 years of wanting to go see it.

2024 was my best year too. I Saw 765 3 times in 2024 as well as chasing both 1225 and 765 on the same day (June 15th) and seeing Big Boy 4014! Just a great year for me! 2025 is already shaping to be an equally great year if not even better
