1300 miles a year at eastfork,I love it. I believe people are looking for more than They really need. I understand traveling, exploring, and just seeing different states. I’ve been all around the country and I have yet to find somewhere with the seasonal diversity eastfork and be within a 15 minute drive. I don’t have to take off work to travel just to hike a day or two.

The Precinct makes the worst steak! Went there last year for a 45th birthday and all 8 steaks ordered were overcooked. You would think for the price they charge they can at least make it perfectly 🙄. Emery in Mariemont is so much better. They make THE best food in Cincy. Had the baos for appetizer, short ribs for entree and donut holes for dessert. They were all heavenly!

I would add Festival of lights, BLINK, Paddlefest, Summerfair, Bockfest.. … and remove the 3 parades. Sorry, as a Lifelong Cincinnatian, those 3 are not big/must-do events.

Honorable mentions for must try restaurants in Cincinnati are Camporosso in Fort Mitchell, Bards Burgers & Chili in Covington, Incline Public House in Price Hill and Agave & Rye in Norwood. As fellow foodie, these are must try's for anyone coming to Cincinnati. Furthermore, you got to try Skyline chili lol

how could someone talk about East Walnut Hills and not mention Purcell Marian High School , even when you talk about the local schools , with Roger Staubach , Tyrone Power , and many other famous people who graduated from this fine and diverse school that almost 100 years old , I'm almost at a lost for words

I have to say, I really do think any Jeff ruby’s restaurant is criminally overrated, their service is great but every menu is essentially the same and you can find the same quality at any good steak restaurant. If you know how to cook a decent steak and can afford a good cut it’s more worth staying home and doing it yourself. Alfio’s is amazing I just went there for my birthday, I also love Sotto the only issue I have is their lack of specials and seasonal options.

Great video! Cincinnati has a rich history relative to the United States at large, so it's great to showcase that means it has been through different architectural trends. I especially liked pointing out neighborhoods that exemplify some of the architectural styles! I believe there are quite a few Craftsman homes in Westside as well, although the price reflects more than just a slow commute.

Pep and Skyline are the only 2 id recommend from this list if you like food for taste and value. I have had a good steak from Jeff Ruby's and the Prescient. Glad I wasn't paying the bill because I can make what my friends and family like better than that for half the price. Saving grace is that Montgomery BBQ wasn't mentioned. Keep doing what you do OP.

The fact that The Precinct is on there makes this list suspect. Ordered a medium rare New York strip and I swear I got the chef's shoe sole instead. Definitely between a medium well and a well done. While waiting for my table, sat at the bar and the bartender did have a phenomenal honey infused ginger tea that was her own creation, but everything else was horrible about my experience. Apparently, the list must be for places that charge at least $100 per person, so at least that trash pit Eli's BBQ didn't get on here as well.

I hate to complain, but I have found that every single park is clogged with honeysuckle bush. And in 20 years, every inch of wooded land in Cinci will be covered with Winter Creeper (Euonymus fortunei). None of the park managers give a darn.

Hard to believe that the rest of the state of Ohio didn't have a restaurant on the list. Seems suspect considering that Columbus, for example, is a larger city, the capital city, and has one of the country's largest universities, and has plenty of food offerings to choose from. It also has a Jeff Ruby steakhouse now. I have ate at Jeff Ruby's steakhouses in Cincinnati, Columbus, and the one that used to be at Belterra Casino. I don't feel that the one in Cincinnati did anything better than the other two. The food and service was equal across all three. This also makes me question the list. It is not a knock on the six spots that made it, rather it is a feeling that many deserving spots could have fallen through the criteria cracks. Thanks for sharing.

Quietly, Sotto has one of the best if not the best steak in the city on their menu. That and the cappallaci (Short Rib Ravioli) 🤤

You definitely need to go to Alfio's. Everything is made in house from pasta to the smoked meats. The staff are professional not only in service but in wine selection too. You will not be disapointed.

My wife and I have hiked Bender; live 10 minutes from there. Have hiked Sharon woods. Also have hiked Devou and Woodland Mound. Shawnee lookout has wooded trails as well as the old golf course cart path. Miami whitewater.
