Only thing I don’t like is ammo cost 😂. Which is why I’m gonna buy a Ruger Vaquero 45 Colt that also comes with a 45acp cylinder 👍. Enjoy both worlds! I got a Blackhawk 357 with a 9mm cylinder I enjoy a lot. But the vaquero 45 feels much better bec it’s lighter and more sleek. That 357 Blackhawk is a heavy chunk of iron to pack around 😂. The 45 got bigger holes 🕳️ and less weight 👍

The BFR rear sight face looks similar to the old Bowen rear sights of IPSC competition. The very best target sight picture! Blackhawk sights are same stingy ones used on the single six .22! Thinking of starting the search for a John Tapin Ruger PPP in .45 Colt w/ .45 ACP cylinder. Never fired a Bisley frame, I'm embarrassed to say!

I agree with you i open carry more often than not for several reasons one being I feel others have the right to know I'm armed i also feel anyone planning to carry out a crime is more likely to back off if seeing another person with a gun I live in NC where you can do both and I do but prefer open carry.

Thanks for the video! My dad handed me his Big Bore Guardian 38 Special (BBG38) By Bearman (Cobra) Its the Black with Rosewood Handles. He had taken the handles off and a small rounded sideways spring fell out. This is not the long spring you show. Its a very small one with maybe two coils. One end would go in a hole and the other resting on something. He wanted me to find a exploded view. I have had no luck. Do you know what spring this is and where it might go before I take it apart? Thanks!

10 mm is less powerfull than the 357 magnum loaded correctly. The 10mm sure as hell isn't close to a 41 magnum! I'm tired of hearing how great the 10mm and 6.5 Creedmoor are. They're not supernatural and cannot shoot around corners. The Creedmoor isn't a 1,000 yard elk cartridge for God's sake. Oh wait! You can get an ugly as hell Glock 20 that cannot handle full power10mm ammo until you buy an aftermarket replacement barrel.

I like the looks of the LPA, but I just got so dang lucky with how accurate my 6.5in .41 Blackhawk is that I'm skeart to change anything, I know it sounds braggadocios, but on a rest, I'm getting consistent one-inch groups at 30 yards, and for me that's pretty good...on a good day.

Not disagreeing with you by any means. However, while I was serving in the Army, I watched a soldier fire a 45 Colt out of a Taurus Judge from approximately 4 feet away at another soldier. The round entered the back of his neck and exited through the front. While this sounds far fetched, the soldier who was shot was back to work 2 weeks later with stitches and muscle relaxers. While I agree with everything you said in this video, without seeing it in person, that situation tainted my view on 45 Colt as an everyday carry option.
