Nice video. You are right about the Shaggs music being fascinating. Their music is odd in an odd way, and I would really like to know more about the creation process. They did have some formal training, and when they came into the studio, they handed the engineer their sheet music. Yes, they had taken the trouble to transcribe it. If Zappa liked them so much, as he claimed, and members of NRBQ went to such lengths to locate them and get their album re-issued, it is because there is something else there beside your garden variety musical naivete.

Trout Mask is an album I didn't like much at first, but with more listening I liked it a lot - another album like that is Tim Buckley's Lorca. Metal Machine Music is not the same kind of thing at all. And yes, the arbitrariness of some of Beefheart's stuff - especially lyrics - bothers me. But then again, I like a lot of Bob Dylan's music even though the random insertion of words only for the sake of rhyming seems just as silly as it does for Beefheart.

Jesus man, I can listen to you for days. You are freakin hilarious and a great story teller. You really spike my mood. This time period you are talking about is when I was building my music taste, so yeah, lot of grunge and alt rock, some I still cherish, others I ask myself what the heck I was thinking when I bought that particular album. But music, among other things, is also about memories and particular events and people tied to it. Today, living a mostly uneventful boring life, I am more careful in the way I pick up music, more based on the quality and emotional side of it than any particular event in my life. Sounds boring, as it will leave no story behind, but that is what being 50 might do to you, although I am still in love with music as I ever was. Well, cheers again for bringing a smile on this sad face of mine, and memories of livelier days.

Summarizing is not AI. lol Wow, AI can take spoken words and turn them into text! AMAZING!! Has zero to do with intelligence. A summary is not taking a 10 second clip of what you said and putting it into text, exactly how you showed it. Sheesh! Has no one watched the movie Short Circuit and how AI should actually work? Everything used to be smart, and now it's all called AI.

The worse part I see is that it also serves as a content spoiler (without an alert, e.g. 4:55) as it summarizes. If one goes on to watch the video after reading the summary, the "surprises" will have less of an impact, hence, less entertaining. If I were a content creator, I would be troubled by this feature.
