@ awesome! I just test drove my Tesla by leaving my phone at home and wearing my Apple Watch series 10, and it works! Been waiting for this for a long time. I bought the Remote App long time ago and it hasn’t worked for almost a year. Apple Watch as a key is perfect!

Hi, in 2022 they started removing the front tweeter. If your car has ultrasonics around the bumpers, it probably also has the 14th speaker in front dash, they started removing both the ultrasonics and front speaker at about same time

she definitely was at more than 50% loudness, you won't have sound leak under that, but otherwise, even with windows closed, you will hear it from the outside (I personally hate tesla's phone integration, so I just switch to iphone speaker if I'm in the car and get a call, it's very hard to hear thru car's speakers and the audio always interrupts, so I'm sure the woman you've seen had it so high for that reason)

@@CBRF No, it's a known issue with the OLDER Model 3. The speakers are mounted onto the interior door panel, but the backs of the speakers are exposed to the sheet metal of the doors and reverberates through that metal. You can even hear people listening to talk radio or podcasts at a comfortable volume. The audio is as clear on the outside of the car as the inside. It's a big complaint with the older Model 3 but possibly fixed on the new generation m3? In my Macan if i'm listening to anything even moderately loud, you cannot hear sound standing just outside the car, until I open a door. Maybe the new mod3 has some insulation around the speakers. Could you test it for us? Maybe set a podcast playing at maybe 3 or 4 on a 1-10 scale, and then stand outside your car. MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

@@shubdh-hz5ul We have the 2018 extended range with premium audio and it sounds great. I don't know how loud you listen but at 1/2 to 3/4's it sounds really good. It may not be the pinnacle of everything I have ever heard but it is definitely surround sound immersive with a lot of energy and grunt. I would put it in the top ten of stock systems I have ever heard. Probably one of the best audio solutions in the price class. I have the sub set to about 9/10's.

Over the years, Tesla invested heavily in quality audio for its vehicles. The automaker hired engineers from Bang & Olufsen and other major audio brands. It resulted in the sound system in the Model 3 and Model Y being well-received by audiophiles.

@@daniloreyes2 It definitely is one of the best stock audio solutions under 50k for a car. It has to be at least a top ten contender.

it's connectivity module, with cell, Bluetooth etc, and a fan inside, it's not supposed to be glued for easy replacement, a gap is acceptable

I test drove a RWD and AWD back to back, and brought a USB drive with my own music so I could listen to the same stuff in both, and I think the RWD system is better. I found the rear door speakers in the 9-speaker system adequate for the immersive audio to create a sense of rear fill. The extra mids in the rear deck of the 17-speaker system didn't seem to make this any better. Maybe it would be better for rear seat passengers, if you care about their experience. I didn't think the four extra mids in the front added anything either. I thought maybe they'd make the soundstage wider and higher than the 9-speaker since it only has mids in the dash, but I really didn't think they did. It just seemed to make the sound more cluttered somehow. The only thing that was really better in the 17-speaker was the bass. Even though the rear woofers are the same size as the door woofers, they produce more bass since they benefit from cabin gain, being in the rear of the car. However, the car still did not have enough bass for me. Since I liked the 9-speaker car's sound better, except for the bass, and since I decided I'd need to put an aftermarket subwoofer into either car, the RWD/9-speaker is the right car for me. FYI, one other difference that I never see anyone mention is that the immersive audio setting only has three positions in the 9-speaker cars but has five positions in the 17-speaker ones.

That doesn't make sense. How do you think that would rattle the trunk any more than a sub in an enclosure mounted inside the trunk would? In either case, the output of the sub is going into the trunk cavity, so this will not rattle the trunk any more than the previous Model 3's sub did.

go to "software" section in reg menu, hold your finger on the car model, then type "service" in the pop up menu, then go to alignment and tires and the first thing will be that screen
