I felt the same way about mine when I picked it up - I adjusted the EQ to boost sub +2 and the bass +4, then moved the immersive sound slider all the way to the right and moved treble to +1 and it made a huge difference, now it sounds amazing.

@@postnutregret it’s a model Y. This is a refresh model 3. They haven’t even hit the USA yet. You won’t see a dual range white interior You’ll see a single motor Rwd. But a dual refresh with white interior. Dose not exist in USA right now.

I know I'm not crazy! Just picked up my 2024 MYP, currently in service for some minor issues, I was given a loaner Model 3 LR. I believe it's a 2018 or so because it has chrome trims. I definitely noticed the difference in sound quality. The loaner sounds a bit *clearer* and better when listening to acoustic songs compared to my MYP. In my MYP I feel like something is missing. Did some research on internet and found this video. Now it makes sense. Not sure when did Tesla start removing that center speaker?

@@CBRF damn another cost cutting measure. My MYP is blue same as yours, just with white interior. Do you think of retrofitting that speaker back in? And the passenger lumbar also.

Great video! Does the audio distort at max volume like in the video or is that the microphone distorting. I had noticed in your m3p videos at max volume it was clear and no distortion

Can you hear vocals from front door speakers or only bass? Sounds like my Y Performance only plays bass and my pillar twitters won’t play at at.
