Ya..Four fires burned around the base of the mountain, when night fell the heat blew up hill and the tower lit up like the cherry on top. The road on Glacier side burned super hot and left nothing. The crews managed to save the houses and community on the main lake. So many friends didn't sleep much... Tower had no chance. I heard the plan is to run some equipment up to clear the road... no takers on the operator with the balls yet. Waiting to see...

@@Paul-l2b1m no takers eh? Bruce and I are both heavy equipment operators, and dont like saying no. Might be able to rent something if we can find a budget, or get some sponsors.

@heltratt6363 some of the tow people don’t like us, because we work for other tow companies. It’s pretty competitive, but they all call us when they make a mistake. I’ve towed so many tow guys. 😆

Its strange, people can drive far far on a road. But as soon as the got stuck 1 time, they cant drive longer and need alot of help geting unstuck on the same road back.. 😮😊

I have found that a kinetic rope between the winch line and stuck vehicle works very well. It's like using the bungee's for recovering a stuck snowmobile. It allows the stuck vehicle to move a much greater distance each time it breaks free.

@heltratt6363 usually he’s leading in deep snow. He’s on sharp 40’s, I’m on worn 37’s. Sometimes I punch through, but would usually just slow us down drastically if I lead. New tires will change this
