Here's the problem with that stab against jeep wrangler , I can tell by looking that this jeep they say is stuck is absolutely not stuck, but I will say that the driver is likely not skilled in this type of weather!! People should know that it's a huge difference in how the driver can use his ability or not, I had a wrangler that I know that this snow is totally doable for the jeep

I’ve seen great jeep drivers in person get through some crazy snow in one piece here in the Midwest. I think it’s skill and vehicle capability just running stock won’t always do it depending on the options you have. Tires in my opinion are a big thing for everyday everything

In the early 1970s I had never seen or heard of these cars before but decided it would be a cool idea to build one myself since I had already built and launched over a dozen model rockets. Over 50 years ago my best and friend and I each made rocket cars from scratch from balsa wood, card stock and spare plastic model car parts and launched them in Central Park in Manhattan. We used no "guide string" just re-positioned the standard 30-inch or so long steel guide rod used for model rockets. We just glued guide tubes on the sides of the cars. The cars ran straight for as far as our enthusiastic young eyes could see, as our prized models soared down the blacktop and onlookers were stunned. Of course a cop came by and told us we had to leave. Funny thing, a few years later we saw these come onto the mass market. I still have my original one, painted yellow and purple and complete with spare salvaged decals, a little beat up of course since I do recall it did eventually hit the side of the curb after it's "rotten egg smokin" run down the strip.

The jeep wrangler wasn't stuck its the female or beta male driver who got scared and proved they are the actual snowflakes. Fj cruiser owners have the same problems but nobody owns one.

I had a 79 Bronco with a good set of 33’s mudders on it and it went anywhere when we had 21 inches of snow. They don’t make them like that anymore. Heavy lead sleds.

I know I'm late to the game, but the difference here was wisdom and chains on all 4 wheels. FJ would have gotton stuck without them. The Jeep? Well, inexperience and no chains. In Colorado snow storms with this type snow, rugular 4x4s get stuck too. Usually wrong tires, its too deep, venturing w no chains. Props to the FJ driver. Snow bashing is fun

You get what you pay for. If you go off-road don't buy $23 ball joints or tie rods...if you drive like an idiot and drive your 3 ton truck is a Porsche then your just an idiot.

It aint stock if you have chains world of diff. We just had 3 ft of snow in Colorado and i didnt even make 1 block before getting stuck in my FJ. No chains, also i should have put in in 4 wheel low with posi track and i didnt
@keytothegate683 жыл бұрын
As usual -the tires are the most important factor here. Then the skill of the driver, the type of snow etc..Also, I hope you had a full tank of gas which should last you a good 15 min in that snow hehe

WHAT??,....did the other trucks have chains. Highly unlikely. I'm sure you love your FJ, but any comparison needs to be apples to apples. Then if the FJ is tops, great.
