Don't forget "Soul Man" with C. Thomas Howell, Rae Dawn Chong and James Earl Jones. It's hard to classify. But Mr. Jones and Mr. Howell have a poignant moment at the end of the film which almost redeems this oddity.

I've thought House Party 2 was ass since I watched it at the movie theater as a kid. It was boring, felt too long, and it was more like a sequel to Class Act than House Party, minus those laughs too. I'm witchu bro

I'm a big fan of this one. It's a little broad at the beginning, but once it settles down, it becomes something really special. Godfrey Cambridge is way under rated. He was in two movies in 1970 that jump started blaxploitation -- this and Cotton Comes to Harlem -- but doesn't get the credit he deserves when film historians skip over those and say Shaft and Sweetback were the beginning.

I’m glad you’re back, bro! I apologize I messaged you last February when you did the Black History Month. You were saying you may not do anymore because you thought you ran out of movies but actually you hadn’t. I was planning on giving you a whole list of blaxploitation films that you hadnt Reviewed yet I had a whole year to do it and I forgot lol my apologies but I’m glad you’re back.
