Good stream. Be a little bit more patient. Be careful when people say they are having connection issues. Lots of people troll when they say that to get you off you game and focus on their problems. I would not even mention it when ppl say they are having problems seeing you stream. People are going to be like that. I used to deal with people like that alot. Come to find out, they are lying about it. Cheers!

There's a definite chance that it changed. When I had to reload the whole danged game a couple of weeks ago, I did my best to get the voice packs back to the way they were, but I know a couple for sure were different.

I don't know what classes you like to convert into mecs, but if you decide to burn a gunner, you do not have to ask if i'd like to be augmented. Nothing more badass then a mec with a big ol' gun. I love machines, after all 😅

That one turn could have had much more disastrous results. I should have thrown the smoke to cover Lucian instead of Qwampa. At least Qwampa had full cover. Lesson learned, fortunately without dire results.

The Gauss weapons are a great example of how this game goes. You get them as a cool new technology and you kick the aliens around a bit until they adapt and you need something even more advanced to even the playing field again.

Always nice to gain some advantage, even if for a brief moment. But we had weaker enemies today. The advantage would have been much less pronounced if the Berserkers, Cyberdiscs and Mechtoids had shown up. But our Gauss upgrade is amazing. It'll be even more amazing when that upgrade hits our Phoenix Cannons!🔥

One should think, once the Mechtoids are down, the rest of the mission should be a cakewalk.... That sectoid hit a 19% shot... The green circles do not work on squadsight

Mechtoids cannot take cover. Hit & Run cannot proc after being commended.

KZbin keeps deleting my comment, i can't understand why... Well, Abbreviated: mechtoids are broken, always focus on the sectoids first. They endet my iron-man endgame. And, i would consider to never replay a mission, nevertheless how far south it goes.

Generally that's the rule for my livestreams. It was just a bad Monday for me, and it got the best of me. It happens, but usually won't, if that makes sense. I agree with your assessment...however, if I feel I can kill the Mechtoid on the first turn, I'll go for that. That way I don't have to deal with the sectoid buffed version. But once buffed, yes, I need to focus on the Sectoids doing the buffing.

Really disappointed you quit. I'm not saying I don't restart missions, but if I were to stream it, I feel it has the assumption that I take what is given to me - good or bad results. If a team is losing on any given sport, they can't just say, well guys, I just don't feel it today. Once you commit to it, there shouldn't be any take backs. I hope I don't see this happening again. I can understand your frustration, disappointment, whatever you want to call it. And for the most part, I take what any game gives me. I have restarted recorded series due to my failures. I've experienced character deaths in my live and recorded series. But the livestreams catch me live, in all my emotional glory. And in this particular instance, I was exhausted from recovering my game. Couldn't stream because on Sunday my game borked. (many others on Steam reported the same thing) It's my most watched livestream and I was stressing. Monday AM, when I got up Steam updated something that allowed the game to be played, but after my Sunday efforts, I had to reinstall the game. I was rushing Monday to try and not lose Monday's Stream, and barely got the game running (with some minor conflicts). Wasn't sure if I should play, chatted in Discord about it, and ultimately decided to play. What you ended up seeing was my very tired reaction to everything that had been going on. It is what it is, I'm not a perfect person, and it happened. If you don't want to ever see this happen again, well, I can't promise you that. And if it bothers you that much, I would suggest you move on. There are plenty of other channels out there. Cheers 😔😩

I have to say I'm really enjoying this series - thought it might be worth commenting at the end of the first month. I had no idea the Squadron Unleashed mod existed, really seems to add to Long War quite well so far. You've gone much further at this point, so I'll have to send me good luck for future months into the past! I'll keep on watching and see whether it arrived or not ;).

You missed some goodies in the vault. The one door in the trapped round room that is breakable, I think it's labelled 'Illusion', once broken open, reveals a different room than when opened normally. There is nice treasure in there. The invisible wall is behind one of the chests in the alcoves either side of the walkway before the round, trapped room in the vault with the doors. Simply click past the wall to enter the room, there is no perception check.

I accidentally threw haste spores at the Hag, instead of the Hag's Bane, as they were adjacent to each other, and hasted her instead. When I did manage to throw the right item, the cutscene was quite gross, as she throws the child up. Good to know you can cut her out as well.

I've been enjoying the livestream thumbnails. For the recorded episodes, I usually just use action scenes from the actual mission. With livestreams, I have nothing recorded yet, so I have to get more creative. Some of my ideas work more than others, but it forces me to get out of my comfort zone of thumbnails. Taps into a less used part of my brain. 🧠🤪

To clarify a statement made by me early in the Stream, the strength of Abductions is based on the Panic level of the country it lands in. High panic means Heavy and Swarming missions. Low panic means Light and Medium missions.

for me installation seemingly works, with all the steps that should happen but when I launch the game it * crash to desktop at first and it starts as vanilla game with no mod still troubleshooting
