I wanna see someone team up with Edison Motors and make an electric one with the motor just used as a generator for range extension. You could load the roof with solar and charge the batteries in a few days while you camp. But you have the generator as the backup. If I had the money I'd do it myself but I'm poor. Lol. But one of these would be awesome as an EV.

Why didn't you just buy a 92-14 ford van-chassis RV and 4x4 it? Your description of what you want literally sounds like a class B RV with a 4x4 conversion. Not that I don't LOVE the Fuso...

Not bad they getting better nice them power stations , but for heating ya better off with a very small diesel heater very efficient and cheaper to run can even hook it into the campers diesel tank

What batteries are in the fuso? Must be some type of lead acid?
@ronthompson23662 күн бұрын
Those are nice but pricey. I think with a little research and all your connections. You can easily make some bigger improvements for a reasonable price. They make a great emergency backup. But shouldn't have to be relied upon all the time. Even a small generator is a great power source for back up and affordable. You will figure it out. But winter is on the way..be good to have it setup before winter strikes. Generator and solar is redundancy but beats being cold in the dark. Will make good future content.

We took our specifications to MAC'S BATTERIES AND SOLAR in Eugene Oregon. In three days, they built our robust new 24v bank and a lovely cabinet for it. . At us$2600, we have the equivalent of sixteen BattleBorn 105ah. . We feed our bank with our six 305-Watt photovoltaic, a total of 1,830-Watts on the roof of our ExpeditionVehicle.

So your battery is at 90% and you have low voltage? Why? I thought the battery capacity was the important one.

Your voltage should be 14.1-14.4 with lithium. Am I missing something?

I’m guessing batteries in the fuso are some type of lead acid. Not lipo

Not hard to tell this is sponsored by bluetti. For the money that Elite200 costs, you could buy at least 400ah worth of decent lifepo4 batteries (not the over priced battleborn or others) and still have money left over to by some solar panels.

you would be better off feeding your DC 12v camper with DC 12v outta the Bluetti... inverters are inefficient

@@HogTide_Rising is riding a metro train mobbing or overland in your opinion? That may be the very simple idea he's conveying. @@JT-ow6qj and you consider a simple travelogue featuring Portland’s metro trains to be an ad for these trains. It’s a travel feature FFS. Phil travels! He sees things! He produces content about the stuff he sees. He offers this content to viewers for free. Phil is the content creator and you are the audience. He has creative control over what he wants to produce.
