Every time when I'm xenophile it's like the opposite everyone hates me and everyone is perfect with something with their ethics that they pick I say I'm good at being a xenophile and a spiritualist and militarist.

my last run had an empire on the other side of the galaxy open the L-gates in 2280. two Grey Tempest fleets immediately spawned in the middle of my empire. i had a total fleet power of around 14k on the high end, and i had actively gone for fleet expansion and military tech.

My second run went like almost exactly like this. So I first got on good terms with some evangelizing zealots who grew to be 1. while I grew to be 2. Which then we went to neutral terms. After transcending and my nation becoming spiritualist any form of diplomacy died. 2 centuries of peace went out the window and I was forced to kick off a holy war of fealty because 2/3 of the subjects wanted to join me despite then being materialists who incorporated some undesirables into their empire.

This is accurate even against players. it doesn't matter if it's bots 😂

I felt the worthless ally part federations being filled with bloodthirsty fools (thanks Starnet) really can screw your diplomacy when they also simultaneously declare rivalry on that other friend of yours because they were in the other federation the fools declare war on

In my most recent game I had a war in heaven between the Xenophiles and the Spiritualists and a couple of years in we also got the Contingency. Ended up in a 5 way between the Xenophiles, the Spiritualists, the Contingency, the Federation of Unaligned Losers and backstabbers (may not be their actual name) and Me. Just a Militant Authoritarian empire living my life, doing my thing, crushing the FA Materialists because "why not?" Anyway long story short it's just me and the Federation of Losers (still may not be there name) who desperately want to get into my good books after I got bored and personally wiped out the Xenophiles, the spiritualists and all 4 contingency worlds (and beat the F out of the Federation at least once while I was at it) left now.

I really missed the part with Nicoll-Dyson beam and Blokkats.
