You know what man at this point you just learned not to take it personal you are fine Superman haters are often hypocrites you might ask what do I mean by hypocrites well they hate Superman Superman is too over powered you can't kill him Superman doesn't suffer but yet these are the same people who's favorite characters or the likes of Goku the sentry silver surfer Doctor Manhattan and many more near omnipotent fictional characters and he's just so sad

You're right, this story deserves more respect. So sad that there will be no more Carlos Pacheco art. The problem with modern writing is they are writing "content" and not fiction. Too busy dreaming of NETFLIX deals. Great video 👍

Not really. You can read Up, Up and Away before this and it's great but it's not something you have to read to understand what's going on in Camelot Falls.

I remember reading it when it came out originally. There were so many delays on it, reading it was a very disrupted experience. So it probably didn't make the impact on me it should have. Would be interesting to read it all again and judge it now I can read it in one go.

@paultapner2769 I've had that same experience with some comics before, delays can really kill the enjoyment of a story. Highly recommend giving Camelot Falls another shot tho.

You talked about some pretty important concepts that I feel like every superhero comic fan should know. Superman learning from his mistakes and learning how to stop mind control, Clark Kent not always being a bumbling fool and standing up for himself, and of course Lois not being selfish and actually being a supportive wife for Clark. This goes to show that the Superman media adaptations don't show every necessary part which end up causing misconceptions and it's better to read the comic to understand a bigger picture. Great video Dylan.

It's a shame that this era of Superman is so underrated, I think because it was published at the same time as Johns' run on Action, which had more spotlights. Even so, Busiek's work on Superman is great, he wrote him as a very intelligent character, he also brought in classic villains like the Insect Queen and the Kryptonite Man. I also love how he wrote the relationship between Clark and Lois, his comics are very good. By the way, if you read this comment, please excuse my bad English.

Busiek is a solid ass writer. The first issue of Astro City is beautiful, and you'll probably love it as well, being a huge Superman fan! I wish I could read Camelot falls, but DC is channeling Marvel with that book and refuses to put it out in softcover. Thanks... Now I can't read it, because it'll break my magnifying glass, that I need to read. That's annoying as hell. But they are putting out 2 Superman COMPENDIUM BOOKS next year. YYYYYYEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! I'M HYPED!

How I first learned about this book was from this Will Wulff from Wulff Den where he did a top 5 Underrated Superman stories and this one Camelot Falls was his #1 and I’ve been wanting to get it for a while and then thankfully last year they released a deluxe edition for this book and I was so happy to have it and my god man it’s such a great story

1.) Look man, at least try to hide your obvious bias towards Batman. 2.) I think both games did their job nearly perfectly for their respective hero, and shouldn’t really be compared. Batman’s fantasy is entering a room full of guys and absolutely beating the crap out of them. That classic cartoon scenario where evil goons are coming after him, and he takes them out in one punch. Spider-Man, meanwhile, is all about the acrobatics and mobility, which the games only improve with each entry. You jump around and under enemies, web them up, pull environmental hazards on top of them, use the occasional web gadget, swing around and kick people into the air, all that good stuff. It has a much larger skill ceiling when it comes to technicality because there are so many moves available to you. But Arkham has way more varied animations, so that despite the relatively simplistic combat, you always look awesome while doing it. You have more options as Spider-Man, but it means you gotta work harder to look as cool as possible. Arkham is more about mastering the fundamentals of combat once you get the initial rhythm down, but you’ll look cool no matter what.

Yeah man, the American way abolished slavery, very early in the countries lifetime, and continually striving towards that ideal is why America is more free than it was in the 1800’s, that has nothing to due with the individuals in America who may be corrupt. Everyone is created equal.

I consider the Insomniac Spider-Man games both the best and underrated superhero games ever. The fact that he’s not restricted to just night time, his healing factor and hi-tech gadgets fit his motif as a spider, more Easter eggs and potential upcoming games to create a better and superior universe (unlike SSKTJL), he’s got better chances at relationships and friends, And who in the right mind would say no to web swinging, parkour, and riding on subways? Not to mention the sandbox city you explore is less lonesome.

2:48 Sorry if I’m late, but. Well, there’s ULTIMATE Captain America. He kinda fights like that and is a real Grade-A for America Jerk. Ironically he along with the Ultimate Marvel sort of influenced the Ultimate Avengers Movies, MUA games, and the MCU (visual and cinematic scope that is).
