I dig most of these creative teams for "All In" (Soy on Nightwing is a dream come true) and I'll probably check out the Absolute line (don't know if I'll trade wait or not). The state of DC is super weird to me right now. They are publishing plenty of good or excellent books that should be selling inside the top twenty or at least the top thirty, but they aren't. Also as a side note, I hope PKJ is involved with the Green Lantern line as well. But my God, DC NEEDS to stop doing fucking events every other year. It just derails everything they are doing.

I'm really disappointed that Darkseid is going to be the overarching villain of this campaign, I'd like to see some lesser known JLA villains or maybe a brand new one takes the spotlight. Because I am sick of every DC story only making the villain Darkseid or The Legion of Doom/Injustice League/Injustice Gang.

Well they were teasing Darkseid for all of the buildup to Dark Crisis and he did pretty much nothing in that entire event, so him being the big villain for something now is long overdue IMO.

Kinda tired of the multiverse. It was just used in Death Metal, Dawn of DC, and now Absolute Universe. DC is doing the same trick over and over. How many different versions of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman do you need. Darkseid returning to be the big bad for DC is always right. But why couldn't Darkseid just get his own book to do something new. They could have had all of the New Gods in a Darkseid book to create someone new to build up to a giant confrontation with the Justice League etc. Absolute Universe could always be worse. But i feel like ive seen this multiverse story from DC a thousand times. The multiverse seems like a get out jail free card anytime they cant think of a story for the Justice League. Two, they need to use characters you dont really see like Vixen, Black Lightning, Mr. Terrific etc. I would like to see them in something grand and epic. Three of my favorite characters.

Im more curious on the larger world of the absolute universe. Like what are the other heroes and villains like instead of the main three. How are they gonna differ from the main continuity? There’s opportunities for great stories and retellings. But some of my favourite DC characters arnt as hugely popular. So im probably going to have to wait awhile until i feel more invested.

Its obvious that dc is trying to make there own ultimate universe to give more of there. Characters instrasting stories to tell about them. But instead of that they look a bit more edgy then there previous design why the hell batman look like alternative younger version of dark knight returns batman and whats with superman hairstyle he look like he try mimic robort pattinsns emo boy look from the batman movie, and last and not least tattoos in wonder women really i understand aquaman needed tattoos because they needed to aquaman look more badass and all but wonder women really trying to look more like jason moma here and her outfit is just new 52 design but with darker colors to honest i don't know what feel about this it looks like dc takes two step foward and one step back? .

I’m excited for The Absolute Universe. Wonder Woman looks badass with the arm tattoo and huge sword. Synder back on Batman is awesome. I don’t like the Batman logo. Superman looks really good also. I’m interested to see what his powers are. These stories could be great or they could flop but I’m excited for the new universe.

(Get ready for a long comment): For DC. ALL IIN, I'm mixed. Was hoping we get a new Flash creative team but looks like that's nlt happening. Same goes for Power Girl and especially Batman. I think Chip has overstayed his welcome. The book needs a fresh voice like Jeremy Adams. Speaking of Jeremy Adams, love the direction of his Green Lantern run and am super happy that he's staying on the book. And the new writer for Green Arrow (Chris Condon) definitely has me intrigued. My brother has read both "That Texas Blood" and "The Enfield Gang Massacre" and he's told me they're really good. I dropped Batman & Robin but now that PKJ is taking over it I'm definitely picking it back up. For ABSOLUTE UNIVERSE, I'm interested although I'm a bit disappointed. I feel like the writers chosen for this (so far) are safe picks. Looking at the Ultimate Universe, never in a million years did anyone think Hickman would write a Spider-Man book and even when it was announced I was worried because Hickman is mostly known for writing team books. Now, six issues in, Ultimate Spider-Man is easily the best Spider-Man book on the stands. I think DC should've taken a big swing with their creative teams for Absolute Universe. Like, for example, putting Scott on WW. He hasn't done a run on Wonder Woman. It could shkw us what he has to say about the character (and it would be a better alternative to main continuity WW).

I think Superman's arms are heat vision esque. I think he can heat his steel skin to molten levels which is a terrifying concept to be honest

I still wished DC would just give us back the real Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy back to his little 10 year old self and it drives me crazy that we have lois lane as superwoman now but they refuse to fix there mistake and give us back the real Jon Kent back to normal and stop doing bad stories but that's just my opinion.

I love the new Superman design, dig the new Wonder Woman design, and absolutely LOATHE the new Batman design. It feels so desperate to be The Dark Knight Returns that they widened every proportion to the point that the actual Bat logo is just a rectangle.

There are definitely comics worth reading right now but I wouldn't say you should come back for Absolute. The Incredible Hulk, Kneel Before Zod, Green Lantern, and Green Lantern War Journal are all definitely worth checking out.
