I love how Olave Wilson and MHJ all said JSN is the best of all of them and no body believed it 😂😂😂

The best stat is no sacks. If we can keep Geno clean, he'll look like the last 2 years. With this defense and a run game, that's plenty good enough to win a SB.

Really appreciate your observations on the counter. Looking forward to your in depth later this week. I think the abilities of the RG and RT are the key. Lucas is shaking off the rust and getting his groove back and then the play of the rookie RG, Laumea is a wonderment. In only his second game ever he's looking like he's figuring out how to work with Lucas effectively. Good synergy between those guys opens up a lot of opportunities. You are correct on Lockett, only one pass his way and there was a time that he reels that one in with skill. I believe that's the first time he's been skunked in a game in seven years.

Finally, Grubb getting the RBs (mostly Charbonet) involved in the passing game. The most he's done all season. O-line has looked it's best with a 2nd straight week of continuity, but quick screens and short passes to the RBs definitely helped alleviate some pressure. Hope he continues to get them involved in it going forward, especially when Walker gets back from his injury.

Yeah I noticed the RB got pushed up to the 3rd read in Geno’s progression rather than the 5th which is a great change for this scheme.

I wish I had the setup to do a proper study on it, but Macdonald's ability to set traps for QB's within his defense had been astounding. Thinking back to the Williams pick against the Jets, and Jones' pick in this one, it's like he's manufacturing hot reads or zone windows, and then dropping someone into the lane right as the ball is let go. It feels very psychological, he knows what the QB's decision tree is, and sets things up to take advatage of automatic throws

Mike Macdonald said in his locker room speech that he “screwed up” the first drive interestingly

I saw that as well. He took accountability which is always great to see. Im going to be honest. I have been skeptical of Mike early this season. With new information, comes new conclusions. He is coming to form as a coach and I’m proud of this team.

This team could've spiraled during that losing streak. It didn't. Impressive for a rookie HC and staff

Look at Budda Baker's reads in the first game compared to this. He seemed to KNOW what we were doing in Game 1. It may illustrate how important a Run Game is.

Short passes work so well, for 2 reasons: He doesn't get sacked, and it is easier to hit a short pass, thus a higher percentage. Win, Win.

I know it sounds crazy, but I've always preferred Charb to Walker. He just hits the hole and runs straight up the field.. Walker has gotten better about dancing, but he's still always thinking too much.
