Back when actors and actresses had talent to do more than just regurgitating words on a page.

I painfully copied the entire transcription down, printed it out, and handed it to my god-level skill piano teacher and she audibly gasped and asked me if I was serious when I told her I wanted her to play that.

Great technical pianist, but I can't listen to Oscar Peterson for more than a few minutes. Too gimmicky and busy. Very shallow playing compared to someone like Bill Evans.

Arguably the world's greatest living pianist. I say arguably because, really, there's no such thing as greatest when it comes to art like this. There are people who are great and they stand in a pantheon of great artists.

Come on! Argerich never was the greatest! Dimitri Bashkirov her teacher Anastasia Virsaladze teach saying to Bashkirov the most important lesson is the love of beautiful colorful piano sound! More colorful beautiful piano sound than Argerich=Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Radu Lupu Artur Rubinstein Vladimir Ashkenazy Grigory Sokolov! More genius than Argerich=Sviatoslav Richter Solomon Cutner Grigory Sokolov Maurizio Pollini Stanislav Bunin Maria Grinberg Murray Perahia Alexei Lubimov Dinu Lipatti Stanislav Igolinsky! More powerful louder than Argerich=Mikhail Pletnev! The Second Loudest ever was Lazar Berman! The 3rd Loudest was Erwin Nyiregyhazi! Beethoven wanted louder instruments piano fortes! Horowitz his technique attack better than Argerich's technique!!

@@RaineriHakkarainen a catalog of people who match her level and who she matches. If you don’t like her that’s fine. I like Pollini, others find him cold. To each their own.

This makes me so happy!!!! What a talent! I love his attention to detail and making the most out of every note. He’s a very thoughtful musician. It’s refreshing to see his interpretations because everything is so logically done.

Lovely playing. But let's be fair, this is one of the easiest "fast" pieces in the repertoire. What I like about the performance is the clarity and voicing, and the fact he definitely does NOT play this as fast as he could, which would actually be less brilliant sounding.
