Just bought the 23A, glad I got an RV inspection cuz they caught a leaking water pump and severs gaps in leaks and other items. For the price it’s worth it and look forward to starting my RV Journey in a few days.

Great video!! I’m looking at this unit & the 24’ from CA! I definitely want a seamless purchase on a very well maintained unit & I have yet to see anyone say anything bad about these! I need to borrow you & your husband to make the changes I want! Y’all are quite the team & extremely handy!! Thank you for making this! ❤

This was one of the best!🎉 Thank you for the great ideas that you put into real life! Your Husband is handy and you are very fortunate to have him! That protection improving your water line from freezing is a game changer! Also the battery generator & solar is brilliant.

I found your video while looking at the CA Majestic 19. Thank you for posting this. It is very helpful. Question for you. What are the dimensions of the dinette bed? I'm particularly curious about the length. I'm tall (6'3") and would prefer to not crawl into the bunk with my wife up there. The dinette would be where I would probably need to sleep but I really worry it will be far too short for me.

My husband is 6 foot and it is a tight fit for him. He is more comfortable in the bunk and I slept on the dinette. We recently sold the unit as we were traveling more and wanted something bigger. I solo traveled in it for a couple of years but found it was not comfortable for the two of us. We've upgraded to a class A and are much happier.

Great video, I'm starting to look for a small RV myself, and I found the 19 g at cruise america. I live on the east coast in Northern New hampshire, so it's a bit of a travel to look at one. So I'm so happy to find videos like yours that give me a tour of the unit.

You should buy a bench shear because it gives a 90% straight cut with out bending the edge of whatever metal you cut , unlike the bolt cutter which is clumsy to use and bends the edge of metals that is cut ,after using a bench shear you wont want to use a bolt cutter again 👍

This was so fun to watch. I have the same rig, also bought from Dave in Mesa. I’ve already put the drawers in place of the jump seat on my husband’s to do list. Also love the curtain closing off the back of the rv. I changed that sucky thermostat for a cheap digital one off Amazon. Real easy to install. My son installed inverter and the equipment for portable solar panels. I want to replace the frosted kitchen window with clear and put a fan where the kitchen vent is. I’ve had my rv 4 years and had no problems. Love it. Wintering in AZ right now.

I’m tempted to keep the 19g for my short work trips but would still sell it. I had checked the Cruise America site and actually talked to the gentleman that sold us our unit and the price we are asking is lower than the exact same unit with same mileage. So check out my Market Place listing. Keep in mind it still has the extended warranty in place and is transferable.

Are the black water tank and grey tank the same tank? I did a toilet flush and all was good. Did it again and put a treatment in and intended to leave it for the day. Then I wanted to clean the grey water tank because I noticed that the water drains slowly so I figured it had hair and gunk from dishes in there. I poured some dawn in there and added some warm water from the shower. I went outside and it was leaking in about three different places! I crawled under and it looked like water was coming out around the black water tank flaps that bolt to the floor of the RV. I emptied everything and the drip continued for a while and eventually stopped. I waited for things to calm down then filled the black tank back up like before and let it sit. There was no leaking. Neighbors think it's either my grey water tank or there is an overflow system in place.Any insight is appreciated!
@cajunsuggies132
@cajunsuggies132 11 ай бұрын
The black tank and grey tanks are totally seperated. If you have a leak it's most likely to be from a bad fitting or crack in the drain line itself. Gray tank overflow shows up on the shower floor filling up with grey water. Hope this helps.

You need to heat the metal, once it gets stiff...quench it it water to cool it, then continue working it. It's called annealing. You need to watch more videos before you try this.

I just bought a 2010 model 19G. It has the fiberglass bed above the cab. No seams to leak and larger space. However, it is a Canadian model and I was told they ordered them with no generator. I will be purchasing a new 5,500 watt ONAN and have it installed. Do you have to have the leveling jacks? Did you have to buy those, or did the motorhome come with them?

It’s been 2 years and I’m wondering how it stood up? It sure does look nice, and I’m like you, I don’t like painting wood, so this is a no nonsense process. But I do wonder how you like it now, and did it last? I can’t believe how it really looks like wood with the texture and all. Thanks

Thank you for the very informative video, this is just what I have been looking for. I am considering buying a motorhome from CA and am researching how happy consumers are with their purchase. I am reading more positive feedback about their purchases then negative, even with the high mileage on these motorhomes. It has been a year since this video, I wonder how the Majestic is holding up. Anyone else purchase a Majestic?

Very informative! I appreciate the time you took to go over everything and provide so much detail. My wife and I are looking to purchase a smaller class C in the next few months and are very much interested in this same model. The one concern I have is driving during hot weather. Do you run the roof AC in addition to the cabin AC or do you stay cool enough with just the cabin air through the dash vents? If I understand it correctly, running the roof AC requires the generator to run, which would affect your mileage even more. Just curious. Thanks for your insight on this!
@cajunsuggies132
@cajunsuggies132 Жыл бұрын
I have put 18,000 miles on this unit in a year. And I live in Louisiana which has brutal summers. Never did I need to supplement with the roof air. I do close the curtains behind the seats on occasion to keep either cool or hot air up in the cab more.
