Thanks so much for this great video! You are right, most tours show only the superficial features of the Majestic 19g. I've learned so much! I just purchased my own 19g in December, from Dave in Mesa! You've given me so many great ideas!! I would love to know more about removing the jump seat. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment.....I'm glad you found it useful. The Jumpseat was bolted thru the floor. My husband found the bolts under the coach and determined they were not connected to anything important and just removed them. There is a wood structure you have to wrestle with but basically, it's just a heavy metal frame that is trimmed with wood and cushions. We used silicone the fill in the holes the bolts left in the floor. He reconnected the curtesy light which made me happy by just leaving the wires to the light exposed and placing the panel back on the side of the drawer unit.

This was so fun to watch. I have the same rig, also bought from Dave in Mesa. I’ve already put the drawers in place of the jump seat on my husband’s to do list. Also love the curtain closing off the back of the rv. I changed that sucky thermostat for a cheap digital one off Amazon. Real easy to install. My son installed inverter and the equipment for portable solar panels. I want to replace the frosted kitchen window with clear and put a fan where the kitchen vent is. I’ve had my rv 4 years and had no problems. Love it. Wintering in AZ right now.

Are the black water tank and grey tank the same tank? I did a toilet flush and all was good. Did it again and put a treatment in and intended to leave it for the day. Then I wanted to clean the grey water tank because I noticed that the water drains slowly so I figured it had hair and gunk from dishes in there. I poured some dawn in there and added some warm water from the shower. I went outside and it was leaking in about three different places! I crawled under and it looked like water was coming out around the black water tank flaps that bolt to the floor of the RV. I emptied everything and the drip continued for a while and eventually stopped. I waited for things to calm down then filled the black tank back up like before and let it sit. There was no leaking. Neighbors think it's either my grey water tank or there is an overflow system in place.Any insight is appreciated!
@cajunsuggies132
@cajunsuggies132 11 ай бұрын
The black tank and grey tanks are totally seperated. If you have a leak it's most likely to be from a bad fitting or crack in the drain line itself. Gray tank overflow shows up on the shower floor filling up with grey water. Hope this helps.

I found your video while looking at the CA Majestic 19. Thank you for posting this. It is very helpful. Question for you. What are the dimensions of the dinette bed? I'm particularly curious about the length. I'm tall (6'3") and would prefer to not crawl into the bunk with my wife up there. The dinette would be where I would probably need to sleep but I really worry it will be far too short for me.

My husband is 6 foot and it is a tight fit for him. He is more comfortable in the bunk and I slept on the dinette. We recently sold the unit as we were traveling more and wanted something bigger. Very informative! I appreciate the time you took to go over everything and provide so much detail. My wife and I are looking to purchase a smaller class C in the next few months and are very much interested in this same model. The one concern I have is driving during hot weather. Do you run the roof AC in addition to the cabin AC or do you stay cool enough with just the cabin air through the dash vents? If I understand it correctly, running the roof AC requires the generator to run, which would affect your mileage even more. Just curious. Thanks for your insight on this!
@cajunsuggies132

I have put 18,000 miles on this unit in a year. And I live in Louisiana which has brutal summers. Never did I need to supplement with the roof air. I do close the curtains behind the seats on occasion to keep either cool or hot air up in the cab more.

I just bought a 2010 model 19G. It has the fiberglass bed above the cab. No seams to leak and larger space. However, it is a Canadian model and I was told they ordered them with no generator. I will be purchasing a new 5,500 watt ONAN and have it installed. Do you have to have the leveling jacks? Did you have to buy those, or did the motorhome come with them?

We just made a trip from Louisiana to North Carolina then down the east coast then gulf coast back to Louisiana. Plus I use it monthly for work travel on average 10 days a month. I’ve put 16,000 miles on it since Nov. 2021. We had to have the radiator replaced within the warranty period and CA paid for it. I had to have routine things repaired like adding Freon to the roof air. We did a proactive move and had the roof coated. Had a small leak on the back of the toilet which my husband easily fixed. So my answer is yes we are still enjoying it!

@@cajunsuggies132 that’s way, way too much or should I say too little for the 19 ft rig, basically it’s the smallest rig of class B and they usually get 15-20 miles per gallon, twice more than Majestic 19 and if you pull a truck and a trailer then you will get twice more space (trailers usually 30-40 feet), plus you can drive your truck around the city or elsewhere without the trailer, which you can’t really do with the rig.

The bedside table had 3 drawers which was perfect for medicines, charging phones, tablets,etc. I need to sleep elevated on my back and he wiggles from side to side and snores. I wear headphones to bed. We both got up at night so we slept better apart. He weighed 350 lbs and I weighed 240 last year. Separate beds was a major consideration when we started looking.
