Forty five minutes of just pure shortline, tourist railroad and regional railroad action. From my archives of videos that I’ll probably never upload. Some of these clips will be reused in full videos of their respective chases.

I just found this gem. Great footage. One problem, not yours is at 28:47. Watch as numb nuts is looking at his phone instead of focusing on the grade crossing. Shit happens in a big time hurry when you're not paying attention. I was in the trash business for 30 years, and stuff happens. And I also know much about railroading. That crossing is where trash trucks enter the site. Nevermind the horn, the crossing is protected. But having his face in his phone is just asking for trouble. About two minutes before this, good ole boy is making his brakeman jump from the train. Dude could of got seriously effed up. But whatever. Excellent video.

Set up the camera on the far side of the crossing so as to capture the crossing gates light sequence and shows the train coming through the grade crossing. It makes it more interesting. And you may catch something that happens at the crossing.

The Baldwin, drs 4-4-1000 is actually a very good name for an engine at the time because it describes the specifications of the loco, diesel road switcher, 4 axes, 4 powered axels, 1000 house power. They went out of business because they didn’t invest into diesel loco research because steam power gave them so much profit. While emd and alco saw the end of the line for steam.
I Live in eastern WA and the trains here are cool I guess.

What type of cars are those at 23:45, some type of trash haulers? What's the square sections with the tapered edges on the bottoms of the cars close to the rails?

Any reason the waste management trains aren’t using horns at the crossing

Awesome Video BUT have to Strongly disagree with you on the Engine Power NOPE on the GE Engine's EMD Engine's All the way. You brought up some Fighting words when You said that with East Penn LOL they are all good Engine's BUT. EMD is a Better Engine
