Oh I love it! I've been waiting sooooo long for a ME board game! I backed Rogue Angels half a year ago on Gamefound and it promises a ME-like experience. It sounds totally wonderful. I hope it'll blow my socks away and provide some love interests for us :D :D Have you seen it???

I haven't played a ton of newer board games besides Gloomhaven. This one was on par if not better than Gloomhaven though.

@@paragonseven gloomhaven is good, but not as good as it has been made out to be imo. My all time favorite board game for the lat couple years has been dune imperium. But really I'm just glad IP games now have a chance at living up to the IP instead of being just a cash grab

I see it is $50.00 for the game and a $320.00 miniatures expansion which can be purchased in smaller portions. So they did keep costs down by selling them separately.

I heard that the rulebook is a mess with some terms to look for are all over the place. Is the rulebook easy to read / learn for beginners? Also hows is the upkeep playing solo with 4 characters. This game is getting mixed reviews.

I'm familiar with reading rulebooks for board games so I didn't find it overly complicated. That said, it could've been organized better for complete beginners and no product is ever perfect. Playing solo is surprisingly very engaging and fun. It felt similar to the games when ordering squadmates to attack certain enemies / move.
