Great work guys...I've been struggling to understand all the changes from my ancient Tyros 4... in particular the sliders and knobs above... the manual has been of little help... I also know now about the useful demo of every voice....many thanks again

Hi Adam, I'm a huge Korg Fan with the same setup as Pete Shaw (PA5X, Nautilus 88 & Roland PK5). What I would give to have the same registration feature as Yamaha arrangers (storing a style along with the registration). Can it be done ???

Great Video. thanks a lot. For the Style mute feature you should perhaps show the mixer (assignable button B). Than it’s obvious what this function is doing. Unfortunately dynamics control can still not be saved in a registration. BTW: You could ask a manual a question by uploading it to AI ;-)

It's still a bit of a toy compared to the PA5X in terms of settings, even if the Genos 2 sounds very good, the settings are very limited.

Hi Adam. Great tutorial as ever, but I’m stuck on 1 thing with sliders etc….My upper keys, when played with a style, are just the right volume. However, when I stop the style, the keys volume decreases dramatically. I’ve tried various controls and sliders to fix this, with no success. Any guidance welcome. Thanks, Dave

Great tutorial again, Adam. The sliders and buttons section can be quite confusing sometimes. You explained it very well. Your accelerando playing is also great btw!

An absolutely great explaination of the structure and design of these controls Adam - thank you. Perhaps Korg could have made it easier to understand, as you have done. I'm most grateful and now have lots to learn about 'personalising' my settings on the Pa5X.

Hi Adam so i have downloaded now OS 3.1 however my set list does not show in the matrix it shows mute on the 4th button is there another setting or is something wrong with the keyboard i have followed you're vid too the letter

Why can’t you record the arranger in midi ,and be able to edit the different channel and parts ! Bass ,drums, parts sounds volume levels ,various sounds in the right hand parts. You can record to mp3, that’s when the song is finished. You were able to on all previous Korg arranger keyboards.If you make a mistake you can fix it. Don’t get me wrong it’s a super instrument, great gigging keyboard,. I have 5x and Genos . Have played arranger keyboards all my life , Roland , Korg , Yamaha. .Can go on and on.

When you erase everything from the song book, can you bring back particular styles?

I am very glad I follow you with all the Korg (Pa5X) knowledge. Thanks again!! The velocity demo was insane! Maybe you can do some videos about sound design. This is my first Korg arranger but the longer I play with it the better it gets. Besides the missing features in comparison with the Pa4X and some bugs this arranger is so massive with features that all other brand arrangers are baby arrangers. Even the Genos 2. It is big and have wonderful styles, but it still has only the basic arranger features, best for the home user that don't want to dig deep in a 2000 pages manual. I do 😅
