Dear Adam, thank you for your tutorials, they make a lot of things clearer. - A little tip from my site: if you want to delete predefined (file) names when saving, a long press on the delete key is enough (saves you having to type a lot). - A note on the songbook: I have observed that if you have saved a keyboard set in the songbook and then change the keyboard set, the same keyboard set in the songbook is not adjusted. on 4x, x-fader can be used only on song mode :) On 5x it's much versatile.

Hi Adam. Il be getting this keyboard on Monday "YAY"! I have been trying to look for videos of the recording sequencer and none are helpful or just not what I'm looking for. As you explain in your videos very well and clear, please .please do a video of how to record a multi track tune using just different sounds. For example... Track 1 : recording a string sound. Track 2: recording a choir sound. Track 3: record a pad sound . Track 4.....and so on. Laying all the tracks on top of each other. I've never seen any one do this on the 5X. Similar but not this method. Please help and be the first to do a proper video on this. Many thanks .and fingers crossed if you can. 😊

Hello, congratulations on your great tips and tricks! An important question, there is a big problem with the midi system, briefly explained: The Pa5x connects to a second keyboard such as: Studiologic Numa Compact x2 88-key keyboard for use as a second keyboard with split function LEFT-(Lower) Right-(Upper), with the aim of playing the Style (chords) of the Korg Pa5x 76 via Lower-(LEFT). This is a Midi function that works with every keyboard and Arranger keyboard and also with Korg pa5x until a "Transpose" pitch increase is performed on both keyboards to tune the same each time, so that the Korg pa5x adds an extra increase, e.g. +1 (c#) -> +1 (D) on Pa5x. Very important!!! In this test, the function "Midi In Notes" in "Tuning" > "Transpose Control" is disabled! If this does not happen, the whole thing is completely unplayable!!!! The same thing happens with my Genos2. The other way around with Genos to Pa5x works normally The midi system is outdated and never updated, this problem was since Pa4x. Do the test!!!

How to convert korg pa 4x style into korg pa 5x

just watched your fantastic video on this amazing keyboard, my question is, if any artist is using this on stage, is there a possibility that, the artist will be miming, not singing live as the vocals are already on the keyboard ?

Hello Adam, PLEASE at least give me an answer I just bought korgpa5x and I have a BIG Problem, I had everything organized according to my wish in My Pa4x and now when I Load the Set to Pa5x and just imagine all the locations of the keyboard groups of the user banks suddenly change. Unbelievable, I also upgraded from 3x to 4x and I have been able to perform since the first day I bought the 4x, this happened only because all my previous data locations were loaded correctly. But here I have to work at 5x for 4 or 5 months to fix my old data. Strange

How about a video on the implementation of the FCB 1010 pedal system to change and control the main aspects like versions, fills etc.?

Hi Adam. I'm enjoying your PA-5x videos. Could you please do a video explaining the file system including backups, loading, sorting into various folders, drives, converting PA-4x sets, loading stuff from various vendors, Osimo, etc.etc. I own both 4x and 5x but frankly never understood the PA-4x system and was afraid I'd mess things up so just played it from the factory settings. So it's time I learned the 5x system and if you could compare and contrast with the 4x system that would also be helpful. Thanks for your work although I miss having you and Luke together since you made a great team. For other video ideas, why not revisit some of the topics you did on the 4x but on the 5x. It's a great pity those 4x Webinars have been lost. They were a great resource. Good you are on KZbin as Crowdcast is not great for revisiting old videos. KZbin is better. Thank you for your informative videos! You mentioned the PaAS-MK2 speakers in this video. Does the music stand of the PA5X or the sheet music interfere with the sound radiation when using them? I'm thinking, for example, if there are 4 sheets of music next to each other on the music stand, the sheets of music partially cover the speakers.

And if you want to set up the same song into player one and player two you need to name them 1&2 in addition to the name. Then you can set up 4 different styles under each on and as you progress through 1 to 4 versions and then slide to player two - 1 to 4 versions can now be to 8 different instrument settings automatic progression through out your song versions 1-4 on player one and versions 1-4 on player two - If you have keyboard style to keys set up.
