Live bait is our favorite, but fresh dead is good too! I wish we knew what the big fish we lost were! Perhaps big grouper, amberjack, cubera snapper, or just sharks!

I'm curious, the commercial divers make a living off of the sea. Almost every video shows lionfish. Why can't all these divers and friends have days where all they do is take lionfish and maybe donate to food banks or dinners for the needy, homeless, vets, or somebody who can't get out.😱🤔🤔😳

I'v been a cave hunter most of my life, But long rear Grip spearguns lack the maneuvrabillity of a mid handed speargun in close quarters. Mine has been a Nemrod Pneumatic Filibustero from the 1960's, 130 cm with a 140 cm 9mm shaft. Super powerful.(I eventualy got a Mares Bazooka, even longer and more powerful, 150 cm and 10mm spear, but it didnt feel confortable) I pumped it up to my loading strengh.Got it when about 15-16. As I grew and my strengh, went from the std 400 pumps it came with(couldnt't load it when I got it) to well over 500 pumps. And the power to shoot whatever 4 mts away at the limit of the shooting string.Grab the rock and Peek into the cave or under the ledge with the gun in shooting position(Not swiming up to it in full sight of the fish), perfect for snap shots. It has Penn 68 Conventional reel With 50 yds of stainless cable(No dyneema for me). Full drag when shooting cave dvellers. You Could have a Custom mid handed rubberbanded gun made for you. The #1 fit, is the but, has to be just long enough to swing under your armpit. My first Sperguns were ruber banded rear grip. Wouldn't go back to them👍🦈🐳

That answered a lot of questions I had about the blurred lines between these two styles of boats. Most of the fishing I plan on will be shallow or mainly calmer water in the Gulf where poling can be a real possibility so a larger flats boat is what I'm looking for
