I always think of chex mix at Christmas in the 1960s. We didn't have the variety of recipes they have now. Great video. I love nuts in mine. Especially walnuts and pecans.

I remember making CHEX MIX....you know.....? Back before ya had to " break the bank" to buy the ingredients. $20 now , just for the cereal! Nope. Pass me the good Ole 🍿!

It's the principle of just how ridiculously high everything thing is now , Making homemade candy, snacks, desserts was how I raised, and our children as well...Now , being on a fixed income, ever since " covid" ....I can longer afford to make my homemade pies, candy, snack mixes. We have a large family, extended families& freinds...I will not bake, make for one..if I cannot do the same for all.That isn't how I was raised . Your recipes look absolutely amazing and I just know they are each and every one totally yummilicious! Thanks for sharing! I apologize if I sounded hateful , or God forbid resentful. There are sooo many baking/ candy making items that are just out of reach in prices anymore.... that's okay though.God provides us with what we need, and we are sooo very Blessed!
