Thank you for this informative video. As a new artist I often wondered how some of those pieces fetched such a high price.. In some ways I am sad to learn that the Art world is controlled this way. I am happy that I paint for me and it makes me happy. I give my paintings to those I love. ❤

just excute me⋯⋯i just saw your video and one thing i was so confused⋯⋯you asked the man eat and drink and then draw on the paper⋯⋯you said this can transfer the sense of taste to became the sense of vision⋯⋯it is quite Miracle, isn’t it?

Welcome back!! I discovered your channel about a month ago and I immediately became a fan. Watched all your videos and I was sad bc I noticed they were from a couple of years back and you hadn't posted in a long time. I love your take on art and life in general, can't wait to see what else you got for us! 🥰🎉

Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation! I stopped everything when the war in Ukraine started and dedicated my time to teaching Bulgarian (my native language) to Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria. I may return to art again soon, I don't know yet ...

I feel like in all society, people aren't viewed as always aging, instead as moving further from a more young and more "perfect" version of themselves. There is never a chance for people to think of aging, and its negatives as also a good thing, only as a stepping stone for something else. I also feel like this is why people struggle so much to feel as if they are growing up. If you cannot see aging for both good and bad, as a natural process, it becomes harder to let your body move through that process more gracefully without feeling awkward and lost.

It is very easy to think so cynically, but there is no accounting for taste. There is a girl on KZbin who goes around asking people "if you could have one piece of art, what would it be ? ".. Warhol, Johns, Rothko, Matisse Van Gogh and Munch come up again and again. i never heard anyone say Turner or Degas.

Rego is an artist I've only become aware of recently. When I first saw her work I was totally stunned by its power and excellence. I think she's up there with artists like Louise Bourgois. As you say, completely blows crud like pickled sharks and unmade beds out of the water.

Art painting should be accessible to all artists, allowing them to auction their work, not just a few manipulated by wealthy elites. Every artist deserves the opportunity to showcase their talent.
